Not only is their food incredible, the staff are some of the kindest I’ve ever met in a restaurant. They all have such welcoming and positive energy. The best hospitality and they are also super accommodating if you have any food intolerances. One of my favorite places to eat in Rhode Island.

Long-time regular, but I can no longer recommend this place. The quality has become terrible, particularly with takeout.
I’ve received soup that was literally colored water – completely flavorless, clearly diluted to almost nothing. When I complained to the manager, they suddenly produced proper soup from the kitchen, proving they knew exactly what they were serving.
This has happened multiple times. It’s not a mistake – they’re deliberately watering down food to increase margins and only fix it when caught. If they’re doing this with soup, what else are they cutting corners on that’s less obvious?
My trust is completely gone. A restaurant that knowingly serves terrible food and ignores complaints until confronted doesn’t deserve your business. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Added a few stars for outstanding customer service and the Rasoi team’s proactive response. They reached out multiple times, issued a refund immediately upon request, and showed genuine care in addressing the issue. Hoping this also leads to kitchen improvements. I may give them another chance and will update on the food if I do.

We visit here for lunch often. Always enjoyed the service & the food. Flavors are spot on. Lunch menu has plenty of choices. Good portions. Great service & tasty food. Plenty of parking.

While the nearby stretch of Hope St. has several good options for Indian food, Rasoi is the best of the bunch in my opinion. The restaurant has a very nice interior, lots of tables with a spacious horseshoe-shaped bar in the middle. They have a decent sized drink menu, my favorite part being several different flavors of iced teas. They have all the dishes you’d expect to find at an Indian restaurant, along with a few less common appetizers. I have the fried cauliflower app along with chicken madras, both were outstanding. The service was great as well, made me look forward to coming back!

They have many options for appetizers and lunch and dinner. My friends and I had dinner here. I had mango lassi and lamb samosa. The food is so tasty. They have free chai tea. I would recommend it if you want to eat good Indian food. The staff are really nice and friendly. They gave us a free dessert which is carrot halawa and it’s so good too.
