Great place for a quick bite in Navy Yard. They have tons of options, and I really enjoy being able to customize my own bowl each time. I stopped in for lunch once and have been coming back weekly ever since.
The food is always fresh and full of flavor. I’m not someone who goes for super spicy food, and I’ve loved everything I’ve tried here so far. The team behind the counter is also fantastic; it’s usually the same staff, and the gentleman working there greets everyone and provides genuinely great customer service.
Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area.

The food that was served to us was clearly not fresh. It tasted stale and gave the impression that it had been prepared much earlier rather than made fresh. This significantly affected our dining experience and did not meet basic quality expectations.
Considering the condition and quality of the food, I believe a full refund is appropriate. I would appreciate the return of the amount paid, as the service and product delivered were not acceptable.

The food at RASA Navy Yard is absolutely delicious! Their lamb meatballs are tender, flavorful, and honestly unforgettable — and the garlic naan is to die for. Fresh, vibrant, and always seasoned perfectly. They never miss.
But what really takes this location to the next level is the design and atmosphere. Just look at these photos — the colorful wall art, the modern lighting, the hanging chairs, the whole vibe is stunning. It’s bright, warm, and so aesthetically pleasing. You can eat here, relax, or just enjoy the ambiance. It feels like a little escape right in Navy Yard.
And I have to give a big shoutout to Dejaun. He ALWAYS takes care of me and makes sure everything is perfect. His customer service is consistently top-tier and makes every visit even better.
If you’re in Navy Yard, you have to try this place. Amazing food, beautiful space, and outstanding service. Highly recommend!

I had a really great experience dining here. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere was welcoming and the service stood out. Jorge was working during my visit and he went above and beyond to make sure everything was good. He was very attentive, friendly, and professional the whole time.
One thing I really appreciated was how helpful he was when it came to choosing what to eat. Instead of just taking the order, he took the time to explain different menu options and recommended dishes based on what I said I usually like. His suggestions ended up being perfect for my taste and I’m glad I listened to his recommendations.
The food came out great and the overall experience felt smooth and enjoyable because of the service. Jorge checked in to make sure everything was good without being overwhelming, which made the experience even better.
It’s always nice when someone takes pride in their work and genuinely tries to make customers have a good experience. Because of the great service and the help choosing some really good food, I would definitely come back again.

Quiet, clean, and convenient location! My palak paneer plate came out quickly, but my partner had to wait a while for his butter paneer to be ready.
My dish could’ve used more spices and more cream to break through the spinach. My partner’s butter paneer could’ve used the same thing—it tasted like tomato bisque instead of curry. The mango lassi was spot-on, though, and I was very delighted by all the Le Creuset on the line.

RASA is an interesting experience. I generally stick to the curries, usually chicken Tikka Masala or butter chicken. The food itself is generally flavorful and cooked appropriately, although it’s all just a bag of chicken that they ladel onto your tray and then cover with the appropriate curry. Sometimes you get the end of a batch and it’s not very good, either cold or gristly. I always get a side of naan that’s just okay. If you order ahead it’s 50/50 as to whether it will be done within the give window; a lot of times I show up and they ask me what I’m picking up and then they make the order right there. I guess that makes it more fresh, but seems to defeat the purpose of ordering ahead. The interior is cool and they serve a variety of drinks.

Awesome. Had the Spicy Chicken chef curated bowl and everything was delicous..added cilantro. It was bangin!! chicken was spicy, but not overly. And there were so many flavors that worked well together..usuallI I mix everything together when getttign a bowl, but this was no CHipotle taco bowl!! I kept everything separate for the distinct flavors — Did I say the spicy chili chicken was good.; basmati was flavorful and not dry, coconut ginger sauce was delicous, mango salsa was nice sweet balance to the chicken and the chickpeas were tasty. I added cilantro just because…and it made everything pop but it is probably just fine as -is!! It was only $13 which is a bargain these days I guess but then I added a drink, the cardamon mint limeade hit different! My only complaint was the naan, wasn’t grilled to order and the lady, which was very nice, gave it to me wrapped in foil so by the time I dug into the bowl the bread was tough and chewy. Will definately be back…might try something else on the menu but I like to stick with what works! Also, I like the story of the two co-owners on the wall, nice to go somewhere with a soul…a vibe, not just another franchise.
