my favorite restaurant i’ve been to in pittsburgh. the pork chop is one of the best things i’ve ever ordered at a restaurant! you have to try this place!! paula was an amazing waitress and rob, the owner, was a great guy who really cared about making our experience amazing. we will be back 100%!

My boyfriend wanted to surprise me with a really nice Italian dinner so I showed up with no expectations, but I can absolutely say that I was blown away. It’s an unassuming place (which are usually the best anyway), but from the time we sat down we were so impressed. Our server, Ollie, was very friendly and very knowledgeable about the wine. I got the chicken parm with vodka sauce and my boyfriend got the pork chop. Both portions were INSANE and the flavors were incredible. The chicken parm was everything it should be—cheesy, crunchy, and flavorful and the vodka sauce was easily some of the absolute best I’ve ever had. The pork chop had the most incredible flavor as well. I couldn’t recommend this place enough and I’d absolutely come back and bring others to enjoy it.

First time here, went on a non-busy evening- so parking was easy (small lot); great atmosphere, fair prices, friendly staff. Homemade bread was good, salad was small, but good (Homemade dressing was simple and delicious). Got chicken marsala, was tender and cooked perfectly. You can tell it was fresh (not frozen). We’ll definitely be back. They even have a fabulous vegan menu for those who prefer that, and it was a nice selection!

Finally got a chance to get dinner here, and it was absolutely worth the wait. I got the chicken Marsala. The sauce was super flavorful, and the chicken was cooked perfectly. Portion includes two chicken breasts, so I brought more than half of it home The focaccia bread was divine.

My wife and I came here for an early valentines dinner and it was amazing. The food was great. The staff made the experience much better. A really cozy spot. My wife is pregnant and the staff was extremely accommodating in answering all her questions to ensure the food was good for her to eat while bearing child. We got the chicken parm and veal chop, meatballs for an appetizer and loved it all. We’ll absolutely be returning to Ranucci’s.

My family had an amazing dinner this week. There were six of us so we had a taste of many dishes including cavatelli, veal & chicken marsala, seafood pasta, vodka sauce w/chicken and two fabulous appetizers – the calamari and my personal favorite the mushroom truffle agnolotti. Everyone enjoyed their dinner. It felt like we were eating in Italy…truly a great place. We will be back!

Awesome restaurant. Great portion sizes. Veal chop and pork chop 10/10. High end food and service with a great vibe. Didn’t have one thing we didn’t like. Drinks are very good and reasonably priced. Been to all the top restaurants in the Pitt area and this is easily in the top 3. Will be back for sure. Rob (the owner) was great to talk to and genuinely cares about his customers experience

Excellent Italian restaurant! Quaint, cozy with attentive staff and amazing food. Really enjoyed the pasta with Sunday Gravy. Bread was warm and soft with balsamic and oil dip. Butternut squash ravioli were flavorful with brown butter sauce. Homemade bread pudding was surprisingly light. Highly recommend! Definitely need reservation.

We had the best dinner at Ranucci’s Trattoria tonight! It is a cozy atmosphere with fantastic service! Our meals were delicious! I highly recommend the vodka pasta sauce! The lemonciello cannolli was my happy ending! We’ll definitely be back!

Service was top notch. Atmosphere nothing to remember. Good Italian wine list, but the menu is no where near authentic Italian. Our diners where split, one good, one not. I would avoid the signature Sunday sauce. Pricing was high vs. quality of meal.
