If you’re looking for a special, chef-owned restaurant in Las Vegas that delivers real quality, this is it. Located off the Strip, it’s a refreshing break from overpriced, mediocre tourist spots.

The menu beautifully blends Filipino, Spanish, and Italian influences, combining traditional flavors with modern technique. Every dish felt intentional and thoughtfully prepared.

The Chilean sea bass was outstanding. Perfectly cooked, balanced, and memorable. The tapas were just as impressive, great for sharing and exploring different flavors.

What truly sets this place apart is the chef. Warm, welcoming, and clearly passionate about the food. You can feel that this is a family-owned restaurant that genuinely cares about the experience.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary here, and they truly made it extra special. The food, ambiance, and service were all exceptional—no wonder this restaurant has a five-star rating. Every dish we ordered was absolutely delicious. We will definitely be back! If you haven’t tried this place yet, don’t hesitate—you won’t be disappointed. They even gave us free cake for our anniversary, how sweet!!!

A wonderful little gem on Charleston. We always try to look for unique eateries away from casinos and thus place definitely fit the bill. Actually, Chef Rang served some of the most delicious dishes in LV. The sea bass in coconut sauce was the top dish that evening. We generally love sea bass, but Chef Rang’s coconut sauce added a different dimension to this popular fish. The truffle pasta was also excellent both in texture and taste. The potato croquets were excellent as well. The octopus leg was well seasoned and tender. The steak was tender (New York Strip), but the sauce was a bit on the heavy side and a bit salty. The wine choices were decent and reasonably priced. Finally, the service was very friendly (like we’ve been eating here forever) and attentive. Highly recommended.

A hidden gem in Vegas! The food was delicious and service was amazing!
It’s a family owned restaurant and the couple run everything. They’re so friendly and every dish we tried was so good. My favorite was the foie gras risotto and the short rib. Their opera cake was also amazing. The inside is very cozy and beautifully maintained. The music was also perfect and added to the vibe. Would come back again!

From the moment we walked in, we knew we were in for something special. The atmosphere was warm, inviting, and thoughtfully designed—perfect for a relaxed dinner or a celebratory night out. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive without ever feeling intrusive, and their recommendations were spot-on.

The food was the real highlight. Every dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavor. You can tell the chef puts genuine passion into the menu—fresh ingredients, balanced flavors, and just the right touch of creativity. The standout for us was the Slow-Braised Beef Cheek (sooo good!!); it was cooked to perfection and absolutely unforgettable.

Rangs Cocina Moderne is the definition of a hidden gem! The chef ,Rang , and her cook ,Jake , created an amazing blend of flavors that had me in awe. I tried the Aligue with Garlic Shrimp, the Bistek, the Lengua Salpicao, and the Tiramisu to end it off.

The Lengua Salpicao had an excellent texture and a marvelous taste to go with it! A very savory taste with a soft and tender meat in a delicious sauce with toasted bread to scoop it all up! I enjoyed the Aligue with Garlic Shrimp and it was a treat! The noodles were cooked to perfection and the shrimp had a wonderfully fresh and light flavor to complement. My last entree was the bistek, and it did not disappoint! The steak was large topped with bistek sauce and sautéd onions with green beans and rice on the side. The steak was cooked to perfection and had a rich and savory flavor that was well worth the price. I finished off my Meal with a slice of Tiramisu, and it was everything you could ask of a cake. A light and airy cake with soft and creamy layers alongside a cherry and whipped cream. There was no better ending to a perfect meal!

My server/host ,Benedict , had a very hospitable personality and made me feel like at was at home. He warmly greeted me and offered to give me recommendations on the menu. He made the dining experience that much more memorable and truly put the cherry on top of an already flawless experience.

Overall, the experience of Rangs Cocina Moderne was enjoyable and memorable. I would highly suggest this restaurant to anyone who is in the Las Vegas area and wants to support a family owned business!

We had one of the best dinners we’ve had in a long time. We ordered several appetizers — the lingua, potato fritters, meatballs, and truffle fries — and every single dish was phenomenal. You can immediately taste the freshness and the care put into the food.

We shared a couple of pastas as well: the shrimp pesto and the carbonara. The pesto is clearly made fresh, the pasta itself is fresh, and the shrimp was cooked perfectly. The carbonara came with crispy guanciale that added the perfect bite and richness. Both pastas were outstanding.

For entrées, we shared the Chilean sea bass and the beef steak. The sea bass literally melted in my mouth — I barely even needed to chew it. The sauce was light, flavorful, and complemented the fish beautifully. The steak was cooked perfectly and served with onions that added so much delicious flavor.

Every single person in our party loved their meal. Everything tasted homemade, intentional, and incredibly fresh. The couple who owns the restaurant is so sweet and personally came to check on us, which made the experience even better.

We highly, highly recommend this spot. An absolute gem that we’re so glad we found.

We had an incredible dinner at Rang’s Cocina Moderne. Every dish was outstanding — from the tender lengua to the rich, flavorful mushroom soup, perfectly cooked pulpo, and the pesto-crusted salmon that was absolutely delicious. You can tell the kitchen puts real care and creativity into every plate.

A special shout-out to Benedict, our waiter, who made the entire experience unforgettable. He was warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. He even used our names throughout the evening, adding such a personal touch to the service.

We were also impressed that Chef Rang herself came by our table to check in on our meal. Her pride in the food and connection with guests made the experience feel even more special.

If you’re looking for great food, thoughtful presentation, and exceptional hospitality, this is the place. Highly recommend!

Food is amazing! This restaurant is a hidden gem literally since you can’t tell by the exterior and it’s location. Don’t be fooled, go in and you won’t be disappointed. This is a husband and wife team. The husband is very personable and the wife (chef) is very sweet and nice.

Rang’s Cocina Moderne is one of those restaurants that makes Las Vegas’s restaurant scene so unique and special. Walking through the doors of Rang’s, in one of the many unassuming strip malls on Charleston, you are transported to a homey and welcoming family-run trattoria or bistro. Every single dish was expertly and lovingly made by Rang. While her dishes pay homage to her Filipino roots, they are transformed through her classic Spanish/Italian training into truly world class dishes. We started with the bacalao potato croquettes, lengua salpicao, and the pulpo. All three were magnificent, but the lengua was revelatory. We then shared the vongole and foie gras with truffled mushroom risotto for the first course and both were excellent, the vongole was the best I’ve ever had. For the second course, we shared the bistek and the slow-braised beef cheek. I can’t stress enough how perfectly cooked and seasoned each dish was. Prices were reasonable and Rang’s husband, Benedict, was the perfect host and server. Run, don’t walk, to support this local establishment.
