Nice family owned restaurant. Our family of 4 came here for an early dinner today. For my husband and myself, this is our 1st visit. The other 2 have been here before and they enjoyed the food. A sweet soft-spoken lady attended to us. I was impressed by the quick service of the food ordered. Initially, I wasn’t excited of coming here because I only like one Chinese/Vietnamese restaurant in Oklahoma City so far. I didn’t go away from here disappointed because I enjoyed the Vegetable Pho. The other 3 members enjoyed their Shrimp Lo Mein, Chicken & Shrimp Chow Mein and General Tso’s Chicken. I didn’t include the price here because my husband I were treated to this dinner and I forgot the price on the menu.

Pretty good all around Asian restaurant. We walked at 2 p m and we smelled the most amazing smell and it was their teriyaki chicken and teriyaki steak that they were cooking. My only complaint on the service was , we are ready to pay our bill and the waitress was in the kitchen , which maybe she was working , so i’m not gonna ding her too hard. We’ve been here two other times I think in the food is always been pretty good

I visited this Chinese restaurant on Friday , November 28th, for lunch with my daughter, son-in-law, granddaughter, and grandson. After we settled in and received our drinks, my daughter took out a bowl of mac and cheese for my infant grandson, as the restaurant’s menu didn’t have anything suitable for him. Before she could even offer him a bite, the waitress, who claimed to be part of a “family-owned” establishment, informed us that outside food wasn’t allowed.

We didn’t quite catch what she said, so my daughter politely asked her to repeat it. Once again, the waitress reiterated that outside food wasn’t permitted. My daughter, remaining calm and not raising her voice, asked if we needed to leave because of this. To our shock, the waitress responded with a simple “yes.” I couldn’t believe it—an infant wouldn’t be eating from their menu anyway, so it wasn’t as if we were taking business away from them.

It’s worth noting that my family has been regular customers at this restaurant, and the waitress was familiar with them. It’s astonishing that they would turn away our family over a small bowl of mac and cheese for an infant. We decided to leave and went to Johnnie’s Italian Food instead, where they welcomed us without issue, and we enjoyed a wonderful lunch with a very friendly waitress.

First time trying this restaurant so we decided to try something simple, chicken fried rice and shrimp fried rice. I did an online pickup order.

I got to the restaurant, nice atmosphere and the menu looked appetizing.

Got our food home and the first thing I see is corn. Corn in the rice, Im like hmmm but stay open minded. We take the first bite, and all I taste is corn. No flavor or seasoning AT ALL.

Honestly, we ended up just cooking it again and seasoning it, after that, it tasted better but still lacked that taste.

I’m not even from Choctaw, we’re from Midwest City and drove to try it.

I initially thought we had a new Chinese restaurant but, we’re still on the hunt since Hu Nans in MWC changed their food.

This is a picture of the chicken and corn fried rice. I don’t even see or taste eggs.

Also, the reviews about the servers not being friendly, yes its true. The worker at the restaurant couldn’t even get off the phone to help me, which to me is equivalent to someone assisting me while texting. She just handed me my bag of food, took my money and turned and walked away, so, so did I. I had questions about the hibachi but now, I don’t even want to try that.

Since my first visit a couple of years ago, they no longer serve sushi. However, their hibachi was pretty good and they also habe poke bowls and ramen. I’ve yet to try either but plan to soon. I ordered the hibachi chicken and it comes with all you see on the plate, plus a salad and soup of your choice. I enjoyed it all and will be back!

Great little Asian place in Choctaw that combines Chinese and Japanese food in creative ways, but also sticks to the classics. Recommend the Choctaw or 85 roll for anyone who prefers fully cooked rolls, both are very good. Comparable to Volcano Sushi and Hibachi.

We ordered the lunch hibachi to go. The food tasted pretty good, but the portion size was small. Also the rice had corn in it, which I had never seen Asian fried rice with corn. I got chicken and my husband got steak and there was slightly more chicken in mine, but both seemed like a very small portion. I’m not a big person and still felt hungry after finishing my tray. I know lunch portions as typically smaller, but this seemed more like a kids sized portion. I would like to give them another try, but maybe do dine in instead.
