Absolutely the best Indian food in the whole Greater Boston area! I have been going here for several years and the quality is absolutely consistent. Very fresh, perfectly seasoned. Honestly, it has the best shrimp dish of all restaurants I have been to. It is also an excellent place for cocktails and wine or beer with dinner! The staff are super. They are always congenial, attentive, and considerate.
Come hungry bcause every course, from appetizers to main dishes to dessert is a delight.

We visited the restaurant on a snowy day and ordered vegetarian dishes, including the Malai Kofta—which is a must-try, rich, and wonderfully creamy. The staff, especially the owner Mr. Raj, were exceptional. He is a fantastic host—polite, welcoming, and attentive—ensuring minimal wait time for our food, with snacks thoughtfully served in between.

The food was absolutely delicious, with fresh, crispy tandoor naan that stood out. Overall, it was a very pleasant dining experience, and I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Absolutely exceptional food and service. I ordered catering from Rang for my birthday party and not only was it super easy to communicate with them, the pricing was more than fair and delivery was prompt and kind. The gulab jamun was excellent and well appreciated.

For those dining here, get the navratan korma. The naan is really good too, flavorful and not doughy.

I took my son, quite the Indian food connoisseur, to Rang and we were blown away. Highly recommend the Tandoor Paneer Tikka. And the service is among the best I have ever had; the staff and so incredibly friendly and thoughtful. Can’t wait to return. Thank you Rang for a great father/son experience.

Wow!!!! My coworker got this for us … It hit the spot !!!! Soooo tasty – so much flavor and the sauce they give was amazing too. Everything so delicious, going to order again tomorrow. Garlic nan bread best I’ve ever had.. and I love that they have plenty of Vegan options bc I no longer want to hurt animals but still want to eat yummy foods. Indian people rock for this !!!

We have a tradition of eating Indian food with friends on XMAS eve. This year, as usual, we placed a take out order with Rang’s. The order wasn’t ready when I arrived for pickup. It had just arrived from GrubHub or had been overlooked. No big deal. I wasn’t in a hurry.

The Maitre D’ apologized and invited me to have a seat while they prepared the order. He gave me a beer and a waiter brought me Papadum.

The Maitre D’ brought me the take out order. I gave him my credit card, but he said there was no charge. I thanked him for his generosity, but insisted on paying (it was a $117 order.) He said it was the holidays and I didn’t need to pay.

This goes beyond great service–it demonstrates great culture. We have frequented Rang’s for years. Needless to say, we’ll remain loyal customers going forward. Thank you.

Local guide here. Honestly the fact that most of the high ratings are from non-Indians is a red flag. Ordered a chicken dosa and it was horrible. No real seasoning, no salt. I married indian so I’ve had my fair share of Indian food. Food 2/10. Customer service, the only waiter is cool. He lacks customer service and he knows it but you can tell he is definitely OK with it. One recommendation though is if someone tells you that their dish needs salt, it’s not rocket science, bring a salt shaker or offer to replace their dish instead of saying “that’s how they made it” . For the manager, please don’t talk bad about customers to other customers at the restaurant. The atmosphere is non-existent. Overall, will not return and cannot recommend.

Awesome Indian food here. The service is pretty quick and good too. Quite popular in the area looks like, there were people dining in and taking out the whole time. Shahi Paneer, Gulab Jamoon and Mango Lassi (we ordered those for takeout) . Although, the curry quantity was not much, and they are really spicy even if you opt for medium spice

First time ever trying Indian food. I have been MISSING OUT. Aniesh was super helpful in assisting me in making a decision on what to get. Turns out I absolutely love spicy chicken curry. He was excellent, perfect service and he even turned on WWE for me. Love this place. Thank you Aniesh
