Randy’s falls way short of the hype. The pulled pork was dry. The amount given was tiny. I’ll say one thing about the pit beef, it ain’t no Chaps. What a letdown after so many reviewers have claimed it was just like it. The fries are weak at best; better ones can be made in an air fryer. The greens had more bones in than actual greens. The mac and cheese was mid. I mean did they just take it out of a box and add water? And what they’re so famous for the sauce, you have to ask for, ask for, even though you pay for it. The sauce tastes just like sweet baby rays out of a bottle which is why I figure someone has to ask for it since everyone probably has a bottle at home. Overall, it’s a solid one star, it’s a shame Waldorf can’t get it together and bring BBQ competition down, cause if there was a legit BBQ spot, Randy’s would other step-up or clean out

Stopped to pick up food here after hearing about this place for over a year. Purchased sauces from them a a craft fair and liked the sauces. Ordered a full rack of baby back ribs, pound of pulled chicken, pound of pulled pork and pound of NC pulled pork. Listed prices on their menu were one price and then what I was charged was $3 more for each item. Received 10 ribs for a full rack. Ribs looked good but they were dry and tough. Picture of the ribs are the couple that looked the best. For over $40 expected them to be fall off the bone. Pulled chicken was ok but nothing to rave about. Pulled pork was dry. This is a carry out only no seating. For the cost and quality of food it’s not worth us driving to get here again. Definitely disappointed and should have read recent reviews before going. Some said they got large portions but we got small portions. Not worth the $127 we paid. Pictures of the pulled meat was spread out to fill the container.

The front window lady was nice enough and there was almost no wait. Outside of this the packaged cornbread, greasy meat, “homemade” lemonade, and bland Mac n cheese made sure I’ll never return. After walking thirty seconds to the tables my bottom sun was so soggy it was inedible. The meat was bland and HAD to have bbq sauce on it. Their bbq sauce was pretty good.

Honestly the worst food I ever had and I’m not exaggerating, allow me to explain. I spent 50$ on 2 sandwiches and some fries with tea, okay sure fine. The pork was flavorless and not seasoned at all, no barbecue sauce for a “barbecue sandwich” coleslaw was basically cabbage with no mayonnaise added on top and not to mention the absolutely SOAKED bottom bun, as if dunked into water, then put together into a sandwich. Next, the fries, boy oh boy, I got 3 varieties of fries, some were cold, some tasted like they were sitting out all day, dry and hard, and some were fresh. At least the servers were nice was just about the only good thing this place had going, I would not trust anyone telling you this place is any good. I would personally stay FAR away from this place.

Shoutout to Randys Ribs for not only being delicious every time we stop by. But also for catering my wedding. Randy let us taste test (even though we already knew we were choosing them and it was going to be amazing). Him & his son sat down with us and talked through our options and wants. They were willing to make anything we wanted, not just what’s on the menu. Randy is also very fair with pricing. Day of, they arrived with plenty of time to setup and prepare food. The setup is upscale. At start of dinner time, Reiner came directly to me and my husband and asked what we wanted on our plates and brought it to us. Randy and his son are simply wonderful people. We have zero complaints (as expected!), food was delicious. Randy, Reiner, I cannot thank you enough for being a part of our big day! 🙂

We ordered a few things (pulled pork platter
rib tip platter, cheese burger, 2 hot dogs and a large fry. Plus 2 drinks) and everything was great. Family of 5 was fed for $80.
The day before we had the ice cream sandwiches. Will definitely be back.

Wanted to surprise my sweetheart, with pit beef, and a couple of sides. Which was coleslaw & green beans Which both sides said they were homemade, which was a lie. The green beans were out of a can and cooked with smoked turkey. Homemade would’ve used real green beans and maybe seasoned them with smoked turkey. First problem. I asked the dude at the window numerous questions about the french fries and the onion rings. Were they homemade or were they frozen? He answered the questions. He assured me that the green beans were homemade, which was a lie. I have no idea if the coleslaw was homemade Good I asked the dude for my receipt because I didn’t receive it because I wanted to see what I paid for over $50. I left healthy tip. A dude at the window said don’t bother. I’m almost finished packing your order. I asked if I wanted the sauce mixed in or not. I said no I want it on the side. I explained I only eat my protein without sauce. And he added, admittedly, told me when I called about the mistake of OF GETTING PULLED PORK!! He basically called me a liar! I’ve been going to Randy‘s ribs since I was a teenager. Unacceptable! People check your order before you leave Randy’s Ribs. Because if they pack it wrong, you’re stuck with it or you have to make the drive back. I made the stop because I was going in that directions for my Afternoon errands. Very disappointing

The food is great! I’ve been eating there for years I love their pulled pork sandwiches with coleslaw on it with the sauce. But the breakfast sandwiches are amazing too from the scrapple to the sausage. In the time wait is not long unless there’s a bunch of people there. And they have a sitting area that is pretty nice besides that it’s next to the highway

Randy’s Ribs & BBQ catered a family reunion for us in Montgomery County, MD on September 28, 2024. They were outstanding in every way! Randy’s hosted a reunion for us six years ago and again did not disappoint. Randy was very responsive and accommodating as we planned the menu and details several months in advance. All of the food was delicious and reasonably priced-pulled pork, buns, BBQ chicken pieces, several homemade sides (baked beans, cole slaw, green beans, mac and cheese, potato salad, salad), with homemade BBQ sauces and salad dressings. (The ranch and blue cheese salad dressings made by Randy’s Mother were fantastic!) Randy also added veggie burgers and a special meal for a guest with dietary restrictions; no problem or extra charge. Delivery by Randy’s son was punctual and set-up was a breeze. We had a beautiful spread, and the portions were extremely generous. Randy provided us with everything that we could possibly need, including extra serving pieces in case one broke and cups because we forgot to buy them. Thank you, Randy! Kudos and five-stars in every category!
