Randy’s began as a drive-up restaurant in 1969. The menu began with just burgers, fries, and chicken. The menu has increased to include a full breakfast menu, sandwiches, a salad bar, wraps, melts, and catering. We are conveniently located on Hwy 61 (Main St.) on the South side of downtown Red Wing, MN.
Old-fashioned standby with a drive-thru offering burgers, ice cream & other nostalgic American eats.

Just wanted to let you know how pleased we were with our order tonight.
The chicken was perfectly cooked with the most delicious breading; nice & crisp and not greasy at all. The side dishes were also great! Nice & hot & tasty.
We are very pleased with the service & extras such as napkins, eating utensils & wipes were included.
Staff are always polite & friendly & never forget to give our dogs treats. They love to go there too.
Thank you so much for everything.

Went to drive thru for an order of pickles, asked for a pint and was told they sell them in small containers for .75 each so we ordered 10 of them. We waited approximately 20 minutes for the order with people in front and behind getting their orders. Finally a young gal comes out with a pretty big bag and states the following “ for your information we do not sell the ingredients separately and for future reference you will need to go to the grocery store! “ I was shook! I said “ ah okay “ as she was turning back into the store. We drove away and I asked my daughter “ so if I ordered 10 hamburgers without the bun … would this be considered “ingredients”? “ I called and no manager was on duty tonight. I will be contacting them again in the morning. What gets me is that if they sell ingredients separately … what should it matter if I buy 1 or 10 of them! I am giving a local small business my business! If they dont want to sell them … dont! I certainly did not need the attitude that came with the delivery. DO BETTER RANDY’s EMPLOYEES!

This is the most over priced in Sysco food in Red Wing. Im so done with Randy’s. Their prices keep going up yet the quality of the food is disgusting.
Like if you are going to charge $15 for a burger meal, start by making the fries to order so they are not cold. And your $15 salad bar doesnt have brown lettuce.
Everyone talks about “support local” yet your local stores are bending you over with less quality and the same processed food trucks.

Great tasting chicken and friendly fast service. A neat restaurant to go to. They specialize in fried chicken Dash it’s very good. Not too greasy not too much breading not too little flavor. Overall, fantastic experience!

Recently visited as we were in town for a wedding and had stopped in years ago and enjoyed. We both got burgers (cheese and California) and salad bar. Burgers were good, fries were outstanding and salad bar was okay. Prices had gone up since last time (as they have just about everywhere). We still enjoyed but the salad bar pricing for one plate (you can’t go up multiple times) is kind of a bummer— means I took tiny scoops of most items so I could try, if I really liked one enough to get seconds I would have had to pay another $5.

Dude acted like I was the asshole for requesting sub onion ring instead of grilled onions on the western burger. Tried to charge me $5 for a side of onion rings. In what world is that a crazy request?
Food is decent and well priced but with small portions. Service is simpletons who can’t be like, oh one onion ring? OK, sure.

Randy’s is a nice local fastfood joint. Most popular for their fried chicken tenders (huge) and the home made ranch. Their burgers are pretty great too, and they have the full northwest frier selection, including onion rings, cheese curds and tatar todds.
Sodas are self fill, so ad libitum
An old lady at the counter always act like everyone’s trying to rob or scam them. The remaining staff is typical Midwestern nice, and very helpful in general.
WiFi is now working as expected after years of frustrating annoyance

Looking for a place to have dinner while staying in RedWing for the night. Thought this would be more of a sit-down and be served restaurant but it was more like a fast food place (didn’t know)
Stand at the counter, order, pay and get a number. Go sit down, they’ll bring you your food when it’s ready.
There was a salad bar.
Lots of seating in the dining area.
Many people seemed to be using the drive-through.
The food was ok.
It looked pretty unappetizing to be totally honest (the colors and textures) but it was fine.

I have been going to Randys since I was a kid. Love the food here. Chicken is always good, as well as the Hot Ham and cheese sandwich.
I live out of state now, but anytime I am in Red Wing I have to stop and get some good food.
