They have chaats, pav bhaji, and chai. A pretty classic Bombay street if I may say so. We went at a time no one was in sight so we got our order pretty quickly. Post that the place was buzzing with a bunch of people queuing up to get their orders.
We tried their Pani Puri which is more or less similar to the one you’d get in Delhi. They use chickpeas in their puri along with Pani that is very mild and cannot be spiced even if you ask. They don’t mix the tamarind chutney unless prompted, which is a shame because if you’re a newbie you won’t quite enjoy the dish.
We had their Dahi Chaat. The dahi was negligible. A teaspoon at the most per puri but it tasted pretty good. The blend of the green chutney along with the tamarind chutney and fresh onions and tomatoes with the right spice mix made it delectable.
The Irani Chai definitely stood out for us. It’s a tiny cup but a bomb of flavors. It’s strong, sweet, and reminds you of walks you took with your friends whilst walking down random streets in India with a cup of chai.
Don’t miss the place. The staff is a hard working bunch of people who deserve the recognition!
Pani puri had that perfect crispy crunch, bursting with spicy tangy water that hit just right. It’s the kind of flavor bomb that makes you go for “just one more” until you’re full but still tempted, the maska bun — soft, buttery, and melting in the mouth. Simple but unbeatable. Paired with a hot chai, it was pure comfort food magic,But the highlight? Egg masala dosa! Crispy edges, fluffy center, and that spicy egg masala packed inside? Absolute perfection. Every bite was flavorful and satisfying.
Overall, everything was really good and definitely a must-try!
Avoid the ice gola stand, its unnecessarily expensive. $18 bucks for an ice gola is daylight robbery. I didn’t even know we paid so much until my friends told me so.
