Some of the most delicious steaks I’ve ever had. We ordered two steak dishes, one topped with mushrooms and white sauce, and the other with tomatoes and red sauce. Both were incredible. We also chose healthier sides, including a huge broccoli steamed to perfection. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked.
I really like this place and 100% recommend it.
I had one of my favorite chicken meals here, the food was fresh and delicious. The service was pretty good too. Weekends they stay open late for dancing but we didn’t check that out.
Next up was the skirt steak, which was cooked to perfection. It was juicy, tender, and had a rich, savory flavor that left me wanting more. The sides that accompanied the steak were also fantastic, adding even more depth to the dish.
Overall, I had an excellent experience at Rancho Nando. The food was expertly prepared and absolutely delicious. I can’t wait to go back and try more of their dishes. If you’re looking for a restaurant that delivers exceptional cuisine, Rancho Nando is definitely worth a visit.
Reasonable pricing. …
On my second visit, we ordered picadas, which were very disappointing. The meats were dry, overcooked, and the food arrived cold. I mentioned this to the waiter, and he offered to heat it in the microwave—which seemed absurd, since microwaving dry, overcooked meat only makes it worse. The service was poor, and the food quality was not worth the $60 we paid for the picada.
The third time, I went for a friend’s birthday. We ordered picadas again, and unfortunately had the same experience. The food took a long time to arrive, and when it did, it was cold. On top of that, the plate had more potatoes, plantains, and carbs than actual meat.
After that, I decided not to return. That was about a year ago. But today I was craving soup and decided to give it one last chance. I went to pick it up, and while I was there, I ordered carne a la llanera again—everything to go. They had me wait in the car for almost 25 minutes, which I didn’t mind, thinking they were preparing everything fresh. But when I got home (just five minutes away), everything was cold.
I had to heat up the soup. It wasn’t bad, but it was overly salty and heavily seasoned. The picada was the opposite: bland, cold, and once again, the meat was DRY—even though I asked for it medium rare. The rib was even burned in parts and had a strange flavor, like it had been cooked long ago and reheated. Once again, I wasted nearly $60 on poor quality food.
Now I understand why the restaurant was nearly empty when I arrived. In conclusion, I think it’s a good place to drink and party—but not to eat. I won’t waste my money there again.
Moving on to the main courses, the steaks were succulent, and the ‘bandeja paisa’ was a delightful showcase of traditional flavors. Each dish was a testament to the kitchen’s prowess.
The highlight, however, was the exceptional service, especially from our server, Nicolas. His attentive and knowledgeable approach earned him a well-deserved 10/10, elevating our dining experience to outstanding levels.
For anyone craving exquisite Latin dishes served with passion, Rancho Nando is your spot. Don’t miss out on the arepas, empanadas, and of course, the service that will leave you eagerly anticipating your next visit.
