My mother ordered squash flower quesadillas from this place because we’ve ordered them many times and they’re usually delicious and we’ve been frequent customers for a few years. Today when I picked them up and we arrived home, I started eating and when I took a few bites I noticed the filling had whole Chiles with the stem in it, which was not pleasant. Then, when my mom opened hers she realized there were only Chiles, onion, and sliced peppers, but no squash flower. Then I checked mine and it too did not have squash flower, which was odd because we literally ordered squash flower quesadillas. Then we called in to let them know the quesadillas did not have the squash flower, to which they said it is normally mixed in to the filling with the peppers and onion, which yes it normally is, but this time there was no squash flower. The person on the phone said we could either bring them back to the restaurant and get them exchanged for something else, or we could get a refund. Those options seem reasonable, however, she then said that we could not get a refund and we could only do that if we brought the quesadillas allll the way back to the restaurant to prove that we did not eat them. My mother explained that our guest and I had already started eating when we noticed it, and it’s exactly why we noticed it, but we could send a picture or show a picture of the inside because they weren’t made correctly. If we order a squash flower quesadilla we should get a squash flower quesadilla, and if they’re out of flower, they could let us know so that we can order something else. We live a bit far, so we did not want to go all the way back to the restaurant just to prove that we didn’t finish the food and that there’s no flower in it. A picture, sure. But we’re not delaying our meal another hour when we can show a picture. Since we couldn’t drive back with the quesadillas, the girl then said she would not honor her initial suggested solution of a refund, even though she said we could EITHER get a refund OR bring back the food to get something else instead. She said that no it was too easy for us to take a picture and take it back to the restaurant later, she said she needed physical proof that the food wasn’t eaten. The whole point was that we did not get what we paid for, and it’s a slap in the face to then be told we have to pause our mealtime and then have our guest and ourselves wait another hour to drive all the way back and get something else to eat just because they can’t own up to an honest mistake. Would you tell your guest to stop eating halfway through their meal just because the restaurant messed up? I now then have to go through that inconvenience and inconvenience my guest just because the restaurant made a mistake? That’s embarrassing as a host, and that is embarrassing for the restaurant that the manager on Tuesday the 18th at 1:30 pm tried to argue with a customer just asking them to at least just refund the order. When we heard the girl on the phone not reasoning that we shouldn’t have to go through a hassle when they were the ones who made the mistake, we asked to speak to the manager, and we were very surprised to hear that she was the manager. Personally, I don’t think a manager should try to argue with a customer especially when their team was the one who made just an honest mistake. That is a bad look for an establishment whose whole business is customer service and serving food. Just own up to the mistake and offer reasonable solutions. Anyway, here are the photos of the food where you can clearly see it shouldn’t have been an issue to just do a refund if we didn’t get what we paid for.

My husband and I went here yesterday for dinner- our first visit. I went with my go to at a Mexican restaurant ( grilled chicken, cheese, rice and beans. ) my husband got the fajita dinner for 2 ( he likes a lot of food )! The food was DELICIOUS! I was actually more impressed with my husbands dish than my own. The flavors were immaculate and the steak literally melted in my mouth! Our server was amazing! She didn’t write a single thing down and yet got everything correct. She was attentive enough without being overbearing. There was such a large menu and so much to choose from, my husband had a hard time picking. We will absolutely be back again. Highly recommend!

Our first visit here was not disappointing. We ordered a lot to get a total experience. The presentation of food was enticing. The taste was very good. I ate food out of my comfort zone but enjoyed it. Happy hour margaritas hit the spot on price and taste. You must try their special salsas. We will come back to visit.

Wanted to give them a try but didn’t happen. We got there and waited almost 40 mins and when the server went to check on our order, she said it wasn’t ready. We noticed they were getting to go orders out the kitchen, but forgot about the folks in the dinning room. The waitress was friendly.

This restaurant has never disappointed me. The service, the food and the atmosphere will turn a bad day into a good one. Peek hours are busy here so if you find yourself here during a busy time make sure you are not in a big hurry. The little bit of added waiting time for a table and the kitchen WILL BE worth it. Whatever you order, I suggest getting a tamale a la carte. Even if you don’t eat it right away they are great for taking home as a snack for later. My favorite dish is the carnitas in red salsa. It’s a bit on the spicy side so be warned I have tried multiple dishes here and have enjoyed them all. This is one of the very few restaurants I will order a burrito at because burritos almost anywhere else are underwhelming, but not here. This place is a must try for everyone.

Really good, authentic Mexican food. Everything was delicious.. only complaint was the karaoke music, it was too loud which made it difficult to hear people at our own table. Otherwise, solid spot. We will be back!

I’ve been here before and the same quality of food each time. I had a problem with the hostess this time not knowing my party had checked in and told me no one has come in recently. Ugh. Walked around looking for them when they were chilling and enjoying those chips and salsa the whole time. Overall, the food is good with large portions and the price is right.
