All around great setting, customer service and the food was just absolutely delicious. Ordered the 16oz rib eye, grilled vegetables and turnip greens. The texas toast and open salad bar just topped everything off. Not to mention the ranch was made fresh and tasted so much better. I do recommend the corn bread and corn salad off of the bar. Was sad I couldn’t eat anymore to taste the rest of the eye candy they had on the salad bar. I will be returning. Only downer I could find was the spinach was wilted but I know spinach begins to wilt fast. Don’t blame them at all. Please go check out this amazing spot I found. God bless and happy holidays

We stopped in today after my son had to get a walking boot for a fractured ankle. Everyone was so sweet, the atmosphere was welcoming, and we felt right at home from the moment we walked in. We’ll definitely be stopping by after my son’s next appointment. Or maybe I’ll just make the 40 minute drive because everything from the staff to the feel of the place to the food was absolutely perfect. Best service and most welcoming place we’ve been to in a very, very long time.

This place is an off the beaten path gem!! It was a last minute decision to find an eating place, and wow!! The salad bar was fantastic! The food was amazing! (I had the mushroom swiss) The waitress was stellar!…and they had my Big Red soda!! I went there with a group and we all had a variety of food. Everyone enjoyed everything! I highly recommend this restaurant!!

More of a diner with a huge menu (and old-school salad bar) than a Steakhouse, the staff are friendly and the place is super clean.
My Ribeye steak, ordered medium, was well done and chewy.

Service was great. Loved the salad bar. Chicken fried steak was amazing. The patty melt was not what I am used to or expected. Would not order that again. I think going before 2pm is the best bang for the buck.

Wow. Home-cooked food, not out of a can. I had the Chicken fried Chicken and it was soooo good. Hubby had the chicken fried steak and he saw awesome. Fresh cooked beans, real mash potatoes, and baked potato loaded, it was LOADED.

The food was excellent. The chicken fried steak sandwich was to die for. My wife ate a hamburger and it was cooked to a perfect rare and the fries were hot and very crispy. Ada, our server, was delightful. Rancher’s has a very cool rural Texas vibe.

This is the third time I’ve eaten here. The omelet was cold and the hash browns tasted like grease! The biscuit and gravy was good, but I have to order a sausage patty as I prefer sausage gravy but they don’t offer that. Server showed she was not happy when I told her omelet was cold which lost her the tip!
