The dining experience was exceptional; I am uncertain whether my heightened appetite or the superior quality of the cuisine contributed more to my satisfaction. I particularly enjoyed the salmon and pasta dish, the specific name of which eludes me, but I wholeheartedly endorse it.

First time dining at California Pizza Kitchen Jacksonville. We were seated within 15 minutes just as the Hostess said. Our waitress was all smiles and got our drinks and order correct and “on-time” the price was also in line with the hot and flavorful bowls we ordered. We cleaned our ❤️

I love CPK but when it comes to their service I can’t stand it. They act nice up front but are so judgy! We walked in and the minute we get taken to our table one of the servers started mocking my friend. Honestly I wouldn’t care but she said it acting like we couldn’t hear her. I don’t really think who she thought she was. I mean as a waiter isn’t one of your main jobs is to be nice and respectful. I am going to continue eating there because I love their food. Service not so much.

The wait staff were friendly and enthusiastic.
Very eager to please and really just great

Very much chain restaurant type food.
Very heavy on preservatives.
Pizza was dry and tasted as though it had just been heated from a supermarket box heat at home pizza. They did have a pizza oven so some cooking must have taken place.
The pasta dish was very definitely high in preservatives. They did put lots of capers on the plate. It was edible but was just like TV dinner of old.
The salad was very dry I mean wilted lettuce dry.
I suppose if one knows what real Italian cooking should taste like this will never match.
Would I come again ? Definitely not.
Would i hire staff from here. Definitely yes.

A very nice restaurant in the livelihood of a Saint Johns Town center in Jacksonville, Florida. The food is nice and their service is very nice.
They had stopped their famous popular dish named tostada a while back, but now it is back on the menu and they serve tostada.
We love this place. The staff and servers are very good. Food is very delicious and very popular.

Lexi and Alisa were amazing! They were so busy and had other customers complaining about the wait, but they continued to smile and be the best they could be with only 4 servers! God bless them! Maybe the manager should hire more to help, so his waitstaff isn’t so stressed out.

Came here for the second time which both experience was decent to get by. They did have a wait time even though there were some seat available. We asked to sit outside but the hostess said they didn’t want to confuse the waiter ???
The food I can say it’s okay. The only thing I dislike is the Italian chop, it didn’t had any flavor at all but the Szechuan dumpling was good, the pizza my partner loved it but me personally I didn’t but overall it was a decent experience

I should have just gone with the Original BBQ Chicken or Thai Chicken pizza, but looking to be adventurous I ordered the California Club pizza. It was like a salad on a pizza, which is not what I was looking for. Maybe adding parmigiana cheese would help? But honestly I haven’t been to a CPK in over 10 years and still have to say there hand tossed crust frozen pizzas taste better than the restaurant pizza. I’m glad there is a brick and mortar restaurant, however I don’t need to visit again for another 10+ years.
