Tasteless (no salt or seasoning) and overpriced. Not trying to hate on this place, but it was bad – probably some of the worse food I can remember. Maybe I ordered the wrong item or the cook was having an off day. I almost always finish my food, but couldn’t here.

I ordered their breakfast burrito that’s $18.99 comes with options of choice breakfast meats and either hash browns or country potatoes. I went with all bfast meats and hashbrowns in burrito with a side order of country potatoes and a soft drink – this was $29.06.

I was ready for this burrito to be great, but it was an incredible let down. Throughout the bites of the bfast burrito I had there was little to no meat. All I could taste was flavorless egg and hashbrown with onions bits here and there for some flavor. The rare pieces of bfast meat were so minimal it was overpowered by flavorless eggs and hash browns. The only thing that offset the bland flavor was their decent green salsa that was more sweet than spicy. It helped me try to get through the burrito.

The country potatoes were somehow worse than the burrito. It was literally potatoes and a piece of green pepper. No salt, no pepper, no onion, no seasoning or flavor. I heavily salted and peppered these potatoes to give them some flavor and it barley helped. Potatoes were unevenly cooked as well – some soft and some barley cooked.

Incredibly good food tucked away in a very unassuming little Cafe. This little hidden gem is a sleeper up in the Angeles Canyon. The unexpected Ethiopian menu was absolutely delicious, we ordered the sambusa, the chicken and the anjeera with beef stew.
This is such a great little place, filled with halt regulars and staff.
Definitely worth a trip if you’re anywhere in the area, they’re Mexican and American menu are pretty good as well.
Highly recommend.

We just moved into the neighborhood and had such a wonderful experience at The Ranch Cafe. Our waitress, Lee, truly made our day. She was so welcoming, kind, and genuinely excited to have us there, which meant a lot as newcomers.

Lee gave us great recommendations and everything she suggested was spot on. The service was attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience feel special instead of routine. It was the perfect welcome to the area, and we’ll definitely be back. Thank you, Lee, for making our day!

The food was decent, but some of the food was burnt. The atmosphere was chill and the decor was nice and definitely unique. The food that wasn’t burnt was good. I would come back to try some of the other food. The menu is very diverse and had a lot of items. They didn’t charge for the burnt sambusa. The people working here were very nice.

Great place. It seems like a family business and the people there were so nice and the service was great. I decided to try the Ethiopian food and it was delicious. I ate the Awaze Tibs. They also make Mexican food and traditional diner style food. Quite an amazing variety of choices. Highly recommended.

Hungry? It’s a great spot ran by two hard working gals from a land far , far, far, away……Always welcoming with a professional additude. Chorizo n egg is a favorite- But for a far healthier version, try the Fer Fer. ( if spelled correctly). It is an Ethiopian dish w/egg, its just like the Chorizo w/egg , but all Vegan. Get sum home style potatoes, n corn tortillas with it, go home happy. That’s all fer today folks. So folks, go get sum great food n Have a happy New Year !

Update: super busy Saturday. Food was a bit overcooked. Probably won’t go on a weekend again.
What a great find! Indoor and outdoor dining. LOTS of menu options, American, Mexican, Ethiopian…who would have known? Great prices, nice portions. Recommend the pastrami, lean, not fatty. Great french fries, not a huge fan of the cole slaw. Would love to try their peach cobbler. Clean bathrooms!! The only downside I had, parking can be tricky.
