We drove all the way from Hartford just to try this place — and it was absolutely worth it!
We ordered Shakarkandi Chaat, Lehsuni Gobi, Shrimp, Mangalorean Chicken, Butter Chicken, Peshawari Naan, and Kulcha — and honestly, everything was super tasty. The Shakarkandi Chaat was the real star of the table… such amazing flavor and perfectly balanced spices!
The Mangalorean Chicken had great depth, Butter Chicken was rich and comforting, and the breads were fresh and delicious. Even the drinks were pretty good and complemented the meal well.
What made the experience even better was that the owner personally came over to talk to us — such a warm and welcoming gesture. That personal touch really stood out.
If you’re looking for a place that’s all about genuinely good food and a great dining experience, this is it. Definitely worth the drive!

Update Oct 2025: Still WOW! I took the extended family to dinner here the other night and everything was excellent again. I recommend the Gemini cocktail – everyone tasted it and loved it. Turns out that other family members have been coming here often. And they have a lunch special that looks like a bargain for the quality of food they serve. I plan to come here whenever I’m in town.

Very good true Indian on the Norwalk/Wilton border. You will not find beef here, as you often will at Bangladeshi / Pakistani places that call themselves “Indian”, and the menu is limited. But the smallish selection of dishes is fantastic. And if you like a bit of alcohol with your meal try the Indian Old-Fashioned, absolutely delicious. I had it yesterday with my meal and csn still taste the awesome flavor on my palate.

We had a truly delightful experience at this restaurant. We started with the appetizers, Shakarkand ki Chaat and Hariyali Paneer, both of which were absolutely delicious and full of flavor. The main course, however, was the real highlight. The Matki ki Roti with Sarson ka Saag was exceptional, the Lauki ke Kofte and soft, flavorful Cheese Kulche was scrupmtious.
What made the experience even more special was the hospitality. The owners were personally walking around, checking in on guests, and were incredibly warm and welcoming. During a conversation, I mentioned how impressed I was with the softness of the Matki ki Roti and shared that I had enjoyed something similar at a restaurant in NYC. To my surprise, I learned that it’s the same chef cooking at both places! Although we couldn’t meet the chef, kudos to him for such remarkable consistency and truly amazing food.
We will definitely be back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic, thoughtfully prepared dishes and genuine hospitality.

This was our (my partner and I) first time trying Indian cuisine. We decided to come in to try it out and it was by far the best decision we’ve made. If you can handle the heat, I recommend the mushrooms! By far one of my favorite! We will come back for sure!

Great food, amazing drinks (kudos to the bartender, this was one of the best mojito in Fairfield County!), really good, attentive and professional service. The place got super busy really fast, but they were quick and really great.
My only “minus” is the bathroom. It’s clean and spacious, but as you walk to the back where the bathroom is, the smell is not pretty. Perhaps something happened when we were there and it’s not an every day thing. I am sorry to mention it, because overall it was such a nice experience.

Had an amazing experiences dining here. Friendly staff. Shout out to Harry, Prince and the entire staff for always welcoming us with the brightest smiles. Love the Veggie Samosa here with their homemade sweet and green sauce THE BEST!
