Go here! Pulled in here expecting an average Mexican restaurant. This place was great. To say the food was great is an understatement. Then the service l, wow! The service was a whole different level, they don’t stop moving ever and I mean quickly!

Ramon’s in South Fork was an excellent choice. If you like Mexican food and want some very nice service this is a good place to stop. We always have a hard time deciding where to eat and this place did not disappoint. It was my daughters boyfriends birthday and they sang happy birthday in 2 different languages. And did I mention the food was great!

Seated immediately. Ordered number 15 on the menu. Ground beef. The chips are crunchy, the regular sauce is mild but very flavorful! The spicy salsa has a lingering heat which is nice. Rice is done well and the refried beans are excellent. Tacos are full of beef lettuce and cheese!
Looks like this will be on my list of things to do when I’m in South Fork every year.

I wanted some good old-fashioned comfort food. My burrito was very tasty. I specifically went during happy hour so as to avoid the dinner crowd and possibly get a less expensive margarita. I did miss the dinner crowd. But never in my wildest dreams that I think that a happy hour margarita would cost $11. It was my fault for not asking what the price was, but I will never go back for another drink.

We ate here after doing the rail bikes in South Fork. The food was great and the staff was as well! I had the chile rellano and taco combination and it was great!

Ahh Ramon’s…been coming here for 15 years now whenever we come to south Fork. The staff is so friendly, even when slammed. The food is fast and delicious, always a dependable meal for us in a town without many options. We will continue to come here for years to come!

I believe there are 2 Mexican restaurants in South Fork, we tried the other a few days ago and were pleased with the decision. Ramon’s had good food (tamales and chile rellenos were just okay). The chips and salsa were really good, salsa brought a sweat to the forehead, but very good.
Had to go to the bar and ask for soft drink refills, also had to ask a passing waiter for more salsa and chips, service was sub par. Prices are reasonable and portions are generous. We commented that we’d go back to the other restaurant next time.

LOVED it here! It started with our fantastic waiter and service and continued with the food. We were a group of 6 but every one of us was taken care of. I had pork carnitas (pictured) which was one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. I don’t remember what the rest of the group had but all were satisfied.

I always look forward to eating at Ramon’s when I am in South Fork. Some of the best Mexican food in Colorado.
Unfortunately I couldn’t get seated today. I waited for 30 minutes and two different people told me they were getting my table. Yet they continued to seat other groups who just walked in. They completely forgot about me. The staff seemed very flustered. I am sure it is tough dealing with all of these Texans all day, but don’t take it out on your regulars.

The service here was great, the food was mediocre. The chips taste like packaged chips, mostly all small broken pieces. The shredded beef had no flavor and the guacamole had an unusual smooth texture as if it was factory made.
