I am not one to write reviews, but Ramiro’s is so special that I feel it necessary. I moved away from Tucson in 2024 and I still think about the quesabirria combo regularly. If I were on death row and creating a menu of my favorite foods I needed one more time, it would be at the top of the list. I’m not being hyperbolic. Whoever was working in the kitchen around 2023-2024 you changed my life. When I get the chance to visit Tucson again I know where I’m going first, suitcase and all. I don’t care. Get me to Ramiro’s!!!
Also: super kind staff, great environment for eating in if you want to do that, benches with canopy outside. Affordable! Simply the best. If you’re in Tucson please go here on my behalf. It’s what I would want.

I spent almost $15.00 for a quesabirria combo plate for takeout. What I received was barrio tacos not quesabirria tacos. This explains why my order came out so fast. There was no reason to rush me out I was the only customer inside but the lady was preoccupied with the drive through. Why is more attention paid on the drive through then the in person customer ? Your employees are so inconsiderate that they don’t care what they give you they just want to be done with customers. You should consider retraining with an emphasis on customer satisfaction.

I love the taquitos! The salsa bar is all bangers. The escabeche is great. They will make you a proper mission style burrito if you add a couple of things which I’ve sorely missed since being in Tucson. Also, the people that work the front are among some of the most polite and courteous people I’ve encountered in a taqueria. This is NOT a run of the mill fast food dump, and is always more than meets the eye.

Don’t let the outside of the building fool you, this place is legit. Sometimes the service can be slow, but I just account that to them making everything fresh when ordered. The birria is so, so delicious. They do have a drive thru for your convenience, as well as a small indoor and outdoor eating area.

A hidden gem. I found this place by accident. I was looking for something downtown and got lost and wind up on Broadway. I decided to pull over to get my bearings, and I happen to pull over right into the parking lot of this place. I figured the food had to be good and I was correct. I live on the north west side of town and we do have a little taco shop in my neighborhood. But the Carne Asada is usually tough and gristly. The Carne Asada at this place was tender and flavorful. I wish it was closer to where I lived. But whenever I have to be downtown or on the east side, I will definitely stop there. Prices are very reasonable. Tacos were huge.

Love this place. Great drive through late night burrito. All of the staff are great except for one guy. I also hate my own service job. But it’s not my problem for you to take out that frustration on me. “What can I get for you?” followed by the most passive aggressive service ever. The one guy ruins this entire place.

10/10 tacos. I eat a lot of tacos and have had them from everywhere. I’m going to butcher the name but the adabado chicken was perfectttt. Most taco chicken is dry. This was def moist. And the taco shells were a little crispy which was nice. Small tacos but four was enough to have me full.

Not a bad place to eat. Food is great and the service is on top of their game. Don’t be disappointed when you see a car in the drive thru. The line moves refreshingly fast. And the food turn out to be worth the wait. So this place has my vote. Get job keeping up the place.

So, it’s 10 AM and I’m past the breakfast stage in my mind and I pass The Taco Shop on Broadway.
My brain eeks out, “never too early for tacos.”
Quick u-turn and I’m ordering a taco and enchilada plate.
After grabbing many salsas and pickled spicy carrots, I go to sit outside, because it’s only 94 degrees (I’m being serious!) and within minutes my food is delivered.
Wow! Fantastic! Tasty and delicious and friendly staff! Highly recommend, A+ rating from all 3 credit bureaus, endorsed by Ghandi AND Molly Ringwald.
I cannot confirm the previous two endorsements, but, I LOVED IT!!
