Please read this full review. I started with the negatives. But there are more positives than negatives. Bathroom was kind of dirty and out of hand soap. It does share a building with a gas station. A country restaurant in the middle of no where. The parking lot was huge and we were pulling a large trailer so that was nice! We ended up here by mistake and it isn’t the cleanest place but the food was great and the service was good. We will be back. Was very kid friendly. It is very quiet inside. They could improve the atmosphere greatly with some music. The salad bar was really good and so was the fish. We will be back! We didn’t have high hopes when we walked in the door but it was actually really good!

This is a country restaurant with great food & service. There was live music (country duet) on Saturday night – and they were good. Special shrimp boil while we were there.

I’ve been eating at this restaurant pretty regularly for a long time… But after the way I was treated tonight I will not be back. After waiting 45 minutes on three pieces of fried fish I asked a girl for a refund and then some guy comes out of the back with my food asking me what the problem is… Told him the only problem I had is I’ve waited 45 minutes for three pieces of fried fish and he tries to tell me that they’ve been busy with three tables with people sitting at them.. so I take my food and leave and he proceeds to follow me out of the building telling me that if I didn’t like it I didn’t have to come back… Don’t worry sir I will not be back and I will most definitely be spreading the word…

A honest mistake is a honest mistake and thats ok. But every time we go something is messed up with our order. Never have been asked for discount or anything. Hard to do business with a place that don’t care.

Y’all. There have been some excellent updates to the menu. The hand breaded fried chicken strips and fried livers were awesome! They were tender, seasoned well, crispy and cooked just right. The slaw was amazing. That salad bar though …was IT. The lettuce and veggies were so good. The little cukes were crunchy and chopped up just right. Tomatoes were ripe and sweet. The pasta salad was so good! The selection of peppers, onions, pickles, eggs, and more was awesome!! I will be back for more soon!!
