We had a great dinner experience at the Ramen Tatsu-ya (North Austin)! The atmosphere here is lively and energetic- the place is constantly buzzing with activity. Despite how busy it was, we were impressed with the speed; we got our order in less than 10 minutes, which is amazing.
RAMEN was enjoyable and solid- quite comparable to other good ramen spots. CHASHU RICE BOWL was tasty and the perfect size for a satisfying, smaller dinner. STRAWBERRY YUZU LEMONADE was refreshing and perfectly balanced, definitely not too sweet. They also offer a great selection of adult beverages, including beer and hot sake. The dishes are very reasonably priced. (We noticed the music playlist was certainly interesting, varying from Pimpinela to Hum, which just added to the unique vibe!)

Finding good ramen isn’t easy, and after relocating to Austin I was on a fresh search, happy to say I found a solid spot here. Tried the sho-yu and mi-so-hot; both were delicious. I preferred the sho-yu, as the mi-so-hot felt a bit heavy with its creamy texture. Also tried the boozy hibi-gibi punch, which surprisingly reminded me of kokum juice from India.

This ramen is so yummy! It’s my go-to due to the price point & flavors. Their chashu is probably the best I’ve had ever. Sometimes it comes out a little oily but that’s never been an issue for me. Their staff is also friendly and give good recommendations!

Stopped here during my recent visit to Austin and loved it! Although it’s a small shop the seating was enough that even when busy, our group of 3 found a place to sit together.
I went for the Sho-Yu Ramen and the Spicy Gyoza and both were excellent. The Gyoza with the spicy chili oil were flavorful didn’t feel too hot or soggy. The ramen was a treat with it being huge portions, with the flavor being incredible. I’m usually someone who doesn’t order much pork Ramen, but the Sho-Yu changed that opinion, it was that good. We left full and entirely satisfied for the price. I’m looking forward to stopping in again next time I’m in Austin!

This place gets very busy during lunch! Staff was kind and welcoming and the line moves pretty quickly. We ordered their OG ramen which was a pork based tonkatsu broth that came with half of an egg and one slice of chashu and unfortunately it was not to our liking- it was very salty couldn’t taste the umami and depth of the broth :/

FANTASTIC FOOD. First time and not the last. We are putting this restaurant in our rotation. Leslie, our server, was so helpful in helping us choose the perfect dinner. This blows any Pho restaurant in Austin away. Highly recommend the #4. Mi-So-Hot with the Yuzu bomb, only if you like it a little spicy. Great environment and the staff is super attentive. Leslie made our evening Special. ❤️❤️❤️

On a cold night this is exactly what you want to eat. They have flavor “bombs” that you can add in, along with fresh garlic. OMG. the only down side is that the building is so small the wait can be long and seating can be tight. It is all community tables!!!

Better than expected. Great decor, staffs are happy. It’s mostly self serve. High chairs aren’t at table height, quite difficult for younger kids toe at but the food was good.

Great ramen restaurant in Round Rock. The No. 4 Spicy Bowl was perfectly cooked and had the right amount of heat. The portion was large so I had to take away the rest. My cousin has the No. 2 Pork Bowl which was a tad bit too salty. Service was excellent; staff were friendly and nice. I will definitely be back! Highly recommended.
