We ended up here because of some recommendations online and it was amazing. The service first of all is excellent, very friendly and polite. The onion soup is a must. The food overall was very good, I would just comment that the beef tartare was too “mustardy” for me, but this is only my opinion. Maybe the Alsace recipe is different from other regions. Besides this, Le Tire is a place you have to visit if you are in Strasbourg. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The experience was very good.
The meals were very good. I recommend the pork à la bière. The soupe à l’oignon was very good.
The service was kind and fast, multilingual.
The place was big but divided in small rooms. Nice local experience.

Tiny and quaint atmosphere. We had a larger group to seat but they were able to accommodate us quickly. They didn’t make many stops to our table for beverage refreshes but we made it work. We did some French onion soups and a salade mixte which was surprising very tasty. The meals came fairly quickly- we didn’t have to wait very long. The tartare was well prepared and was an interesting pairing with French fries.

Great restaurant right in the heart of Strasbourg.
We were warmly welcomed by the staff, who were friendly and attentive throughout the meal. The atmosphere is lively, cozy, and very authentic.

The menu offers a nice variety of traditional French dishes. We tried the choucroute Tire-Bouchon, which was really delicious, full of flavor, very authentic, and served in a generous portion. Definitely something you should try.
We also had the escalope de volaille, which was good as well.

Overall, a very good experience with great food and a lovely atmosphere.
Highly recommended!

One of the best places my husband and I have ever eaten at! First of all, the food from the “grandmother’s menu” is simply top notch! We came to Strasbourg for a mini-vacation and as soon as we had dinner at this place on the first day, we went back there every day for the next few days! We loved it so much, and not a single dish disappointed us.
Secondly, the service was really pleasant, the waiters were friendly, spoke English, and the dishes were brought out fairly quickly and were hot.

We liked the beef stewed in beer and the pork cheeks stewed in wine the most ✨️

So I 100% recommend this place and will recommend it to all my friends ❤️

Awesome winstub serving traditional and soulful Alsatian fare. Located in the shadow of the Cathedral, its famous “teddy bear” facade draws you in, but the kitchen provides a truly authentic reason to stay.
The service is efficient and professional, even during the high-demand dinner rush.
Skip the apple streusel!

The food is good. However the Pinot Noir was served iced cold, the restaurants squeezes everyone in the bottom space like sardines. The upper dining room is left empty…Service, what can we say, it is France ..

It is not comfortable to have the next table bumping elbows. Delicious foie gras, tartare steak, jarret de porc.

Everything was perfect. Ordered their 3 course menu, and was fantastic. The service, the prices, the food were perfect. We didnt expect such quality from this restaurant but they overexceeded our expectations.
I would visit you again in the future.
