I must say it is a bit on the pricier side. Expect to spend no less than $17 on average
Got the spicy chicken ramen. Everything made to order. The noodles were good. A little oily for me but it was still a solid dish
The Chicken Katsu Curry was really good. The rice is soft and amazingly cooked, the curry was flavorful with carrots, and the chicken katsu was crunchy and flavorful. The price of the whole meal was honestly worth it for the quality of it.
I think I can agree with most people where maybe the store itself can use a bit of a polish. As a person that’s used to walking into small shops and stores, it wasn’t a deal breaker. Overall, great place and will definitely return to try different plates.
We ordered the Tonkotsu Shoyu Ramen and a can of original milk tea (made in Hawaii). The milk tea leans more tea-forward than milky, which actually worked perfectly alongside the rich ramen broth to balance the flavors and cut the oiliness.
The ramen itself was fantastic. The broth had a deep, savory flavor, just the right amount of oil to make it satisfying without being heavy. The noodles had that firm, Kansui bite I love—chewy and springy, exactly how ramen should be. Toppings were fresh too—the bamboo shoots especially stood out, and the shoyu added a nice thin salty layer without overwhelming the dish.
Overall a well executed bowl of ramen (which is not easy already) with no surprises.
The space is casual but warm, and the adjacent Japanese grocery and deli adds to the authenticity and charm. Definitely one of my new go-to ramen spots on Long Island.
I ordered the shio tonkotsu ramen. The noodles are different from what I usually have at other ramen places. This felt more like what a home-cooked ramen would be like, I think.
The Pork Katsudon is a standout, served steaming hot with perfectly marinated pork cutlet and silky, smooth egg. The Miso Tonkotsu Ramen features a rich, creamy pork bone broth, topped with classic ingredients like corn, bamboo shoots, and green onion. The medium-thin noodles are cooked al dente, delivering the perfect balance of texture and taste.
Another must-try is the chicken karaage, with large, juicy pieces seasoned with a touch of white pepper spice. Ramen and donburi come in three portion sizes: small (great for kids or light eaters), regular (satisfying for most), and large (ideal for hearty appetites).
Complemented by free tap water, Ramen Musashu combines excellent flavors, hearty portions, and great value. It’s a must-visit destination whenever you’re nearby and craving delicious ramen.
