The noodles are thin and slightly firm, so they stay springy in the soup and are easy to slurp. Prices are reasonable for the quality, and portions are generous enough to be very filling. Nice location inside City Center Bishop Ranch. We requested for outside seating and it was setup quickly with a heater.
We liked all the appetizers we ordered. Renkon chips hit the right flavors. Deep Fried Gyouza is fried to the apt amount and juicy inside, meat was delicious. Takoyaki was melting in the mouth. Portions were okay.
Coming to the Ramen, we were disappointed big time. Except Tantanmen there is no other creamy ramen options.
Miso Ramen was just miso broth without any additional flavors, chicken was undercooked, too less broth.
We didn’t like Yuzu Vegetarian Ramen even, similar stuff, broth wasn’t flavorful, too less broth for the ramen quantity.
There is additional broth option on the menu but not at the cost of giving less than required broth in the ordered ramen.
Prices are okay for the setting but there is lot of work needed in Ramen department when compared to most ramen joints in Bay Area.

This is one of the three worst Ramen I have ever had. I think they forgot to add salt to the soup. The noodles were too soft and terrible. We couldn’t even eat half of it. When I entered the restaurant I was taken to my seat without being greeted. They are boringly accommodating without a smile or a word when it comes time to pay the bill. I will not be coming back again.

Meh. My expectations weren’t high but it’s a beautiful restaurant and not crowded. Ordered one bowl of ramen and a side of rice. After 20 mins of waiting I was shocked that the ramen was lukewarm. So sad! Obviously ate it but not once was approached by staff for a fork, or a refill or even the bill. Had to stand at the front podium and wait to be given the bill. I’m sure people like this place. I’ve been to better and won’t come back here.

Not sure why this place doesn’t have better reviews. We stopped by on a busy Saturday. Cold weather outside, hot ramen sounded amazing. We were sat pretty quickly. Served waters right away. Had to wait a little while for the ramen to come out but omg did it hit the spot. So warm and comforting. Full of flavor. The noodles were cooked well and chewy. The egg was amazing and jammy. The place was a little pricey but we got it to go and ate it for a second meal later. The staff was friendly enough. We got in and out of there pretty quickly but I didn’t feel rushed. I’d go back here if I was shopping on a cold rainy day in San Ramon.

I have been to both the SF and San Ramon location. If you’ve been to either you will know what you will be getting. What I like about this place is that they offer Shio and Yuzu flavored broths in pork and chicken variations.
I had the salted cucumbers as an appetizer. I’m pretty sure that the cucumbers didn’t come slightly pickled. I do think they would be more balanced if they were slightly acidic to be a foil to the fatty ramen.
If you aren’t full you can order extra noodles.

Ramen Hiroshi offers decent vegetarian noodles, which is a pleasant surprise for a spot located in a mall. The flavors were satisfying, and the noodles had a good texture. It’s a convenient place to grab a comforting bowl of ramen without venturing too far.
While it’s not the most outstanding ramen I’ve had, it’s definitely a solid option if you’re in the area and looking for something vegetarian-friendly. I’d happily return for another bow

Been here more than several times. Today, I visited on a Tuesday at 12:30p and was able to be seated immediately. I always enjoy their fried chicken cartilage and Tantanmen Ramen. The chicken cartilage is super crunchy and not oily. Usually, they serve it with a Japanese aioli type sauce on the side, but not today, however I did not miss it….more unneeded calories! The ramen noodles are nice & chewy, the broth is flavorful, and there are many ingredients making it almost stew-like. Delicious! Oh, and excellent service always!!

Visited here on Friday around 1:45pm for late lunch. We were seated immediately and we ordered right away. i ordered chicken karaage for appetizer and 2 bowls of hiroshi tonkotsu ramen. This was everything kinda downhill. We had to wait for almost 20 minutes for the ramen. That was after I asked the server because I saw 2 tables who came after us got their food first. The chicken karaage (that was supposed to be an appetizer) came last after I asked another server to check on it. I also had to ask for napkins and water refill. I am disappointed at the service despite the friendliness of the servers.
Now the food. I ate at Ramen Hiroshi at Walnut Creek last year and remembered that the ramen was good. Here, I was disappointed at the broth. The broth was flat – lack of umami flavor. However, I still like the firm thin ramen & the sweet chasiu. I had to take out the pickled ginger like last time in Walnut Creek because it tasted weird with the ramen imo. The chicken karaage was good. The skin was crispy but the meat was tender. The portion for the karage was good for the price.
Not sure I would come back here in the future but it was a decent bowl of ramen.
