Had an early Wed lunch at Uzu. Staff was friendly and open to menu questions, also proactive on asking about food allergies. Miso ramen was rich, fresh, and flavorful. It was a little before noon on a weekday and it was easy to find a table in one of the common areas.
Looking forward to going back for another bowl!

This is the only place in DC that knows how to make a good frickin bowl of ramen. It’s exactly right. The cold noodles are incredible, too. They charcoal grill all their meat, you can really tell they know what they’re doing. The other ramen places in the immediate vicinity (including a particular instagram-famous sit-down restaurant a block away) are either worse quality for the same price, or worse quality for a higher price. Don’t waste your time – come here.

I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. I like my ramen broth a bit creamier so I asked the worker and they recommended the vegetarian bowl, I subbed the tofu for chicken. The staff was very kind and helpful. The atmosphere was great and very trendy and the food was about 10 min. We also were able to find close, safe and free parking just out front.
Now onto the best part the food was 10/10 amazing quality, great ingredients, it has that authentic flavor profile and was so rich and hearty. At only $18 in the heart of the city it’s a steal. Hands down the best ramen in the DMV (please don’t pack it out y’all lol)

No one is doing ramen in Union Market like Ramen by Uzu! Their normal menu is fantastic with typical ramen shop mainstays and the specials are always fun and delicious. Only thing that could make this place better is if it had seating since seating is so limited in Union Market.

Cute little Ramen stall with friendly service and some tasty options. I felt the flavors were authentic Japanese and the broth was delicious. I think my noodles may have been slightly undercooked but not enough to ruin my meal. Reasonably priced option for a quick bite at union market… I would try again.

I would say don’t walk run, but you need to sprint. Not a big ramen fan but the times have changed. This was incredibly tasty, flavorful, and filling. Per usual recommended but someone who works here and 10/10 did not disappoint. Very happy and will certainly return.

This is easily the best kept secret at Union Market – maybe also the best secret Ramen in DC??? I was there again this past weekend and also tried the noodles (cold) – incredible! The worst part about going to this place is deciding between all the great options on the menu. Staff is very friendly and nice too. I’m not sure if the Japanese guy is the owner or not, but he is very friendly and helpful, a true gem that really helps make the experience.

I was pleasantly surprised by this place located in a food court that my husband wanted to visit. It is reasonably priced and the staff is extremely helpful & friendly. Side note, their broth is not as rich or salty as other ramen places which I prefer.

Delicious sesame noodles. Sweet, spicy, savory, and served with chicken and veggies. My palette was thoroughly satisfied. It was prepared quickly as well.

Not gonna lie. I was skeptical about getting ramen to go but it was late and I had a craving. I’m glad I got it from Ramen by Uzu. The broth has a great flavor and you can put in the fixings you so desire. The noodles and broth came in separate containers and there were even instructions for reheating. I couldn’t select the option for eggless noodles online but I made a note in the comments and they gave me the right ones! I would definitely order from here again. It may be “to go” but is restaurant quality.
