the food is delicious, but the prices on Doordash are offensive. I get that there are additional fees to make up for in using a 3rd party platform, but hiking up prices by 25% is ridiculous. there is zero reason why an order of three birria tacos, originally priced $15.95 on your website, should cost $20.95 plus fees on DD. it’s just pricing out anyone not in your delivery area.

Mold in the tres leche cake. Didn’t notice at first since it was covered in whip cream but after I got the first bite and instantly knew something was off. When I looked and saw the mold I literally vomited my entire meal.

Clean and AC conditioned space. Service is kind and fast. The burrito bowl was worth it. We tried carnitas which were delicious. It’s not authentic Mexican food as other people pointed out, but better than Taco Bell or Qdoba. The tres leches on the other hand is not worth having here, it’s not moist enough even though the cake was floating. Still, I won’t take a star for one dish since the rest was so nice.

My family has been frequenting Don Juan in Lafayette and Easton the last couple of years so it pains me to share this disappointing experience at the Lafayette location. Half of my carnitas bowl was blobs of fat (see pic). The whole bowl tasted salty and fatty. Additionally, the taco shell in my wife’s taco salad was somewhat stale. Please bring back the quality!

The food is not good. It’s pretty bad. The “queso” is basically movie theater nacho cheese, some neon yellow velveeta concoction. The chimichanga *was not fried* and was covered in the neon “queso”. The rice and beans looked like diarrhea. I don’t want to sound rude, but you should know what you’re ordering. See pics. Tacos y tequila is waaaaaaay better.
