Ramen Azuma has been our favorite Ramen restaurant since moving to Bergen County in 2018. Their menu reminds me most of going to Ramen stands in Japan.

We always went to the Englewood location, but excited that this location is closer to us.

My go-to is the Ramen & Curry combo, upgrading the Ramen to Black Garlic.

I have to say it is good to see a ramen place on this side of New Jersey. The place looked authentic as we walked in, and the place was nicely arranged. Great selections in the menu and we were happy to see the combos. We could choose the thin white ramen noodle, yellow thick ramen noodle and gluten free version. I had to say the texture of noodles were among the best of all the ramen places we sampled. Unfortunately the broth was too salty, and the pork items were too dry and had strong boar taint. The rice texture was below average, which was surprising to us.

My husband and I love it here! The food quality and service is great. I really recommend the ramen combos they have. For the gyoza, they give you 3 different dipping sauces which are all amazing. This is our go-to date night spot!

The quality and taste of ramen and the chashu got much improved!
I still can’t say the broth and chashu are excellent as the broth is salty and chashu is not soft enough, but the noodle is very good!
Also I’m grateful that there’s a place in the town offering Takoyaki and other Japanese food!

Really lovely and cozy Ramen (and more!) Japanese restaurant right in the center of WoodRidge. I loved their Gyoza appetizers, vegetarian and meat, and their Ramen noodle dishes are so yummy. I also really love the very flavorful green tea bubble tea. (Tip: ask for no added sugar if you like it less sugary.) The interior is spacious, modern, and comfortable, and the staff is super-friendly. Easy pick-up service when calling-in orders. We’ll done!

A fun little shop, with buttons for service and pretty good service at that which was very patient throughout ordering and our changing order. Fried Chicken was great, not too salty or too crispy, the gyoza was ok. Miso ramen was too salty and had too much of a ginger flavor, not much miso. The bento box with a small tonkatsu ramen and two sides was great, very filling. Definitely enjoyed the teriyaki chicken, it was fried and then soaked in sauce so if you don’t like soggy chicken it’s no good. The bubble tea was similar to Kung Fu tea, bubbles lacked flavor, too much ice as I was left with about a half cup of ice after drinking the rest.

Great ramen shop. The noodles are machine mad and a bit off, maybe they were undercooked, but they were stiff like par cooked cup of noodles.

Great broth and a rich curry
The teriyaki chicken was bomb as well.

A great ramen place when its cold and rainy

Nice portion for my teriyaki chicken platter, and great gyoza. Everything was freshly prepared [still hot when I got it home] and delicious. I can’t figure out why I only got a HALF cup of soup though…. ‍♀️

Knew this spot for a while and we usually did takeout for lunch. The 1st time I dined in, it was really much better as the ramen came out hot and fresh. I tried the summer menu – A cold Ramen with a good price and a big portion, plus 3 big pieces of fried chicken. The broth was rich, creamy, and full of Miso flavor but not savory.

This is a cute place I have visited twice. The food is good overall ramen is not bad, karaage seasoned, curries well flavored. But today I ordered spicy miso ramen with curry with beef and spicy miso was not spicy and the beef was not traditional stewed curry beef. In fact it seemed they “ran out” of the beef and tried to cover it up with these stringy fatty pieces. I realized it when I found just one small piece of tender stew beef in the curry. I specifically asked for extra bok choy and I was told there was already bok choy in my ramen. When I received it there was only one small leaf.
