Stopped in here at Raman 101 and I’m glad I did.
Cool little place, friendly service, and the food was terrific!
I had the Black Garlic Ramen. I chose the mild spicy option and it was perfect, just enough kick. Great overall flavor and a healthy serving.
The pork lumpia gyoza was crispy hot and delicious. The spam musubi was thick and fresh. Both were cooked to order and not sitting somewhere in the back under a burner.

We tried the Seafood Ramen along with the Black Garlic Ramen and were blown away by how rich and satisfying the flavors were. Every bite felt thoughtfully prepared and comforting. It instantly stood out compared to other places we have tried nearby. This spot has easily become our favorite choice for ramen in the Rancho area, and we are already looking forward to coming back again.

I give this ramen a solid 10 out of 10. It was absolutely delicious—the noodles were cooked perfectly, the broth had a rich and balanced flavor, and the meat was tender and well-seasoned. The place itself is comfortable and welcoming, making it perfect for enjoying a meal with family or friends. The service was friendly and quick, which made the experience even better. Delicious ramen with good hearty portions. Quick service (order at the front, pay, serve yourself water). Good pricing! Can’t beat that! Love these new style of restaurants without the overbearing server service.

I have been here a few times and the Teriyaki chicken is amazing and the hatsu chicken is fire … I have not tried the soups because they have a lot of garlic and my stomach allergy to it so but eventually I will try it when not going for lunch at work .. over all I come here often and I like this place.

The food was good, but my appetite totally got ruined after I seen the silverware dirty. I guess this is what happens when you don’t have an autoclave dishwasher. The food is good just asked for plastic cutlery.

The service here was excellent. The waiter helped me understand the menu and offered recommendations based on what I’d typically eat. I got the Tonkotsu Ramen and it was amazing. The beef tasted great, the eggs were cooked to perfection, noodles were delicious, and the broth.. that was some goooood broth! The server also delivered the food and gave us everything we needed. I would definitely come back again!
Side note: This is a very heavy meal so don’t plan on doing anything for the next hour after this. I did it anyways because it was so good.

About time we got a good ramen joint in Rancho Cordova. Everything I’ve tried so far has been on point. Excellent fast service with friendly employees. You can ask for the level of firmness of the noodles even though it’s not listed as an option. Only down side is no fountain drink options, but realistically you’re not in the establishment long enough to have a bottomless beverage. So it’s a non issue for most. They have various bottled beverages and water. Been here several times since they opened and don’t see it changing any time soon.

Nice neat and clean restaurant with good atmosphere. The decor is top notch. Portions are huge! The ramen was just ok, the broth could have been more flavorful, but the noodles were just right. For a ramen place, their rice plates were the highlight of the meal. Definitely recommend the grill mixed plate & whole squid. Delicious and well seasoned.
