If I could give 10 out of 5 stars, I would!

We tried this place because we are Nepali and someone mentioned great things about them in Chowdown Cincinnati. We’re glad we did.

Their pork chowmein, pani puri and Aloo Dum are fantastic. My wife loved their chatpatey. They have a store-restaurant setup going on, but did a great job with the restaurant decor even though it’s pretty low key.

The restaurant is run by a family and this is Nepali hospitality at its best. They kept checking on us and even asked for things they could do to improve (we gave them honest feedback on how they could improve their chicken momo). I even got a chance to talk to the dad about his immigration journey to the US and he shared some pretty cool/intense stories.

After we enjoyed our fantastic meal and left, the dad even came outside to wave goodbye at us! What a wholesome bunch of people!!

They are truly a gem. Go support this small business!

The food was delicious and the staff was so nice. It is a bit of an odd find inside the grocery store but it’s beautiful and clean. I would order everything again. The pain puri were fun to eat and the dumplings and curry were so flavorful.

The food is delicious here. The staff are friendly and chill. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. Without a doubt, if you are looking for a good time and good meal this is the spot to eat at. There is also a market to get other stuff.

Our experience here wasn’t great. The puri with chicken curry was so oily that there was a pool of oil on my plate. I wanted to let them know, but the server was nowhere to be found. We also tried the Chowmein and Pani puri, which were average, except for the Pyazi. I didn’t like their chai at all.

I tried a new refresher drink, and it was perfect for this hot weather! The food was really good—fresh, flavorful, and made with care. On top of that, the people there were so kind and friendly. I really liked the place and will definitely go back to enjoy their amazing food again

Please try Momos. It will take you back to traditional nepal bcz it’s just hit the spot. Come now since they have little bit of seating. New owners are good with other traditional dishes as well such as chowmein and thukpa. But momos are my favorite.

Ramailo Cafe is a great spot to eat. The flavors were rich and fresh, and the portion sizes were just right—not too small, not overwhelming. Everything tasted well-prepared, and it really felt like you were getting solid value for the price. The overall experience was satisfying, and worth coming back for. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for good food and great value in a casual, welcoming setting!

Allow me to share my thoughts on this place as honestly as I can. We went there twice before deciding to write this review so others can be aware of a few things. A cup of masala tea priced at $5 feels steep considering how small the portion was, though it tasted good and they did offer a refill, which earns them 2 stars. We tried the pani puri, and six pieces for $8 is just not reasonable. The $25 combo platter had an excessive amount of food coloring that really should not be there. The aalu chop and pyaji were so unnaturally red. It would be better if they stuck to the natural color of besan. The ambience was nice, and one guy actually greeted us and held a conversation. Everyone else seemed like they were trying to avoid interaction or leave our table as quickly as possible. It wasn’t even busy, so that kind of service didn’t make sense. The chowmein included in the platter was overly oily and lacked the expected flavor entirely. None, and I really mean none, of the dishes we ordered met the standard we’d expect from a restaurant. And for the price we paid, it just didn’t add up. Mediocre food, high prices, and gratuity was already added to the bill. Both service and food need major improvements.
I hope this review would help overcome some of the mentioned concerns.

I really love B&D Nepali Market! I buy incense and chywanprash here all the time. The owners are friendly and helpful. They also serve absolutely delicious, inexpensive noodles and dumplings to go.
