Very quiet place, I guess I went a little earlier (6/630pm) but there’s was only a couple of tables taken. Food was good but nothing crazy special or unique.

We ordered Tonkotsu Ramen the presentation is good but the taste is quite different from the original so I gave them 2 stars out of 5. The Chicken Karaage is dry maybe because the choice and cut of the meat the sauce is spicy and far from original citrusy sauce maybe you can try Bachan from Costco is better just saying and lastly the Chahan or Jap fried rice with beef is quite nice so anyway hope they can read this to do a little bit more searching. Well the ambience is nice tho with Japan kinda vibe.

We asked for extra scallion in our soups and got like five in each bowl. That was not anywhere near extra but we got charged $1 for extra scallions for each bowl. Otherwise, soup was good.

so so mid. I ordered the curry ramen, it was very thick and had no flavor. I won’t be having any ramen for a while. Great service tho. Just mid food.

The food was okay, but they have the thinnest pork bellies I have ever seen in a ramen shop. They also do not have a dedicated men’s bathroom, but do have a dedicated women’s bathroom. Service was excellent though

I’ve eaten Ramen in so many places across the country and this place is absolutely amazing. Authentic noodles, egg cooked perfectly as well as the pork. And the broth was incredible. Great service. Great all around

I didn’t know what to expect at a ramen joint in a college town in New Brunswick, NJ. Typically, my experiences haven’t been that good at an Asian anything near a college town outside of major cities. When my son told me that he decided to work here because of the food, I had to try it out (especially while he was working there). To my surprise, this place was comparable to any ramen joint in NYC, including St. Mark’s area. Their takoyaki was crunch on the outside and had real plump chewy octopus inside with proper bonito flakes on top (better than most places in NYC). Kara age (fried chicken) was solid with delicious chili sauce. Edamame was little too salty for my taste, but was good nonetheless (my wife could not stop eating them). Ramens were solid. Tonkotsu ramen had more straight noodles than wavy ones, but that is what a proper tonkotsu ramen should have, but it was missing shredded red pickled gingers, but when I asked my son, I mean the wait staff, they brought it to me right away. With it, it was (almost) perfect. My wife’s Osaka beef noodles reminded me of Taiwanese style beef noodles and Cantonese style beef noodles. If they served it with spicy chili oil, it would have been perfect. I am surprised that there is this type of quality ramen served in a college town of Rutgers New Brunswick. I wish that I had type of ramen joint when I went to college. Kids these days are so lucky…
