I found this restaurant on Google, and it is nestled away inside a hotel. It isn’t in the best area of town being right off the highway – on the southeast corner of Kellogg and Broadway, but that didn’t deter me from visiting and trying the food. I was greeted at the front desk of the lobby and directed to enter the restaurant just beyond the hotel’s main entrance. It appeared clean with an open concept of a relaxed yet fine dining feel of an older style hotel – the architecture and lighting is inviting. The staff were very polite and courteous. This restaurant has only been open for a couple of months and seems to be still developing a menu for the locals of Wichita to appreciate. They have a bit of the northern and southern cuisine of India. The food was fresh and delicious although a little different from some of the other Indian restaurants around town. The waiter stood nearby in a polite manner and was available if we needed him by gesturing, which is likely customary culturally. I will be visiting this establishment again because I really appreciated the welcoming experience as well as the food. This restaurant deserves a chance, and I hope it is successful in the long run amongst the vast competitors in Wichita.

First, the food. It was delicious, with an emphasis on southern Indian dishes. We ordered two kinds of dosa. The dosa, chutney, and all the side dishes were pleasantly spiced and very satisfying. I will definitely return here for the food, maybe takeout. There were some problems to mention. The restaurant is hard to find. It’s in a hotel with no signs. There is a large dining room that says “Rajwadi Pointe” but it seemed closed. We were seated in a more casual dining room; picture a hotel breakfast buffet room. The floor-to-ceiling windows on the west side were letting plenty of heat in. The service was slow. We waited more than 20 minutes to get water, and that’s after asking twice. It was uncomfortable to sit in the hot room with no water. The metal cafeteria trays were unattractive. I saw other review pictures where the food was served in proper plates and bowls. I’m not sure why we had the metal trays. Of course, it did not affect the taste of the food. As stated in the beginning, the food is worthwhile.

Food was tasty, quality was enough. Fortunate to get authentic Indian taste. This is inside a Hotel. Only concern is a bit more cleanliness, welcoming and refreshing atmosphere required. Chef is great.

The dosa was great.
The chicken tikka masala could use a lot of improvement.
Overall, the ambience was not what we expected. It’s in the corner of the Wyndham hotel. The air conditioning was turned off (we found out later that the previous group asked for the A/C to be turned off). The ventilation was terrible. It was an uncomfortable experience.
I believe more items currently on the menu will be made available. When we ate there, only 8-10 items were available.
Overall this place has tremendous potential with a little more TLC to the space & better ambiance.
Looking forward to the current review to be turned around. All the best! I do want to comment that the server was friendly and courteous.

The eggs and sausages are delicious with excellent flavor. The coffee and condiments are generously provided. In the restaurant, there are four varieties of bread available for toasting, as well as three different types of cereal, including a high fiber option.

Dalton was our server and the service was the best I’ve experienced in years! If I was his boss I would give him a raise for all the attentiveness and attention to detail. I loved the atmosphere and food and was able to watch TV during my meal. I genuinely loved this food more than any place ive been recently.

We ordered a garlic nan, goat biriani and Butter chicken. The food came and when I checked, the Naan was literally raw like a dough, biriani was Stale and smelly & butter chicken was Stale and tasteless. Threw everything after tried 1 bite. Worst food ever in my life. Don’t even try them its a waste of time & money.
