Our special cuisine refers to the cuisine of Gujarat, India, a state in the western part of India. Primarily it is a vegetarian cuisine due to the influence of Jain vegetarianism and traditional Hinduism. The typical Gujarati Thali comprises of Rotli, Dal or Kadhi, Rice, and Shaak/Sabzi (a dish made up of different combinations of vegetables and spices, which may be spicy or sweet). Gujarati cuisine is very diverse in flavor, depending on the part of Gujarat in which the dish is prepared. North Gujarat, Kathiawad, Kachchh, and Surti Gujarat are the four major regions of Gujarat that all have their own distinctive styles of food preparation.

Me and my family went to Rajdhani restaurant a few days ago. Upon entering the restaurant was empty, but the service was very kind. There was a girl named Rebecca who introduced us to all the options, and 3 types of roti were brought out subsequently along with dosa. Food was alright, a few items were similar to each other but still ok.
However, my mom’s stomach started hurting a little after we left, and the next day my entire family got food poisoning. We all threw up and it was not a good time.
Although service and people are very nice and welcoming, food was not fresh and caused food poisoning.

Went there for Saturday afternoon buffet. Nice Vegetarian place. Roti, Dosa, and pooran polu were fresh. All the sabjis were steaming hot. Kichadi was hot and spicy, the way we wanted. Pani poori was mediocre. Most of the sabji were not spicy and were a little bit on the sweeter side. A couple of dishes were little spicy but enjoyed every bit. First time eating Gujarati food and impressed.
One suggestion to owner: We are new to Gujarati food and so recommend to put a name tag to the sabji’s so we know what we are eating.

Good taste! Buffet lunch with wide range of items. They have very good selection of hot breads – roti/fulka/bhakri/puran poli.

I invited my non gujju friend to try our Gujarati food at this place. We were welcomed by the Uncle ( I guess, owner) He was friendly and he explained to my friend all the gujju dishes. Being Gujarati, I was aware of all the dishes but my friend was very happy to try Gujarati food. We loved Undhiyu, Sambhar- chutney, dahi bada, dosa and puranpoli. It was not crowded so we had a good food with chitchat. Only regret that, there was no chas or Lassi and better farsan like patra or khaman or idra.
Uncle was good throughout just that at the end when we ask for 1 puranpoli they hesitated. I thought it’s a buffet so it was not a limit of 1 per person.

This was my first time visiting this restaurant , and I honestly felt it wasn’t worth it. The food quality and taste were average, and the buffet menu was very regular. The service was also not good—there was only one person handling everything. Overall, I would not recommend this place.
