Easy to get to location in a Steeles/Dufferin plaza with ample free parking. Dining space is nice and colourful, and the menu has a lot of options. While portions are large (very shareable), flavours were mild / disappointing in terms of spice ratios (too much cumin in the chicken biriyani).
Would likely be good as a general crowd pleaser that doesn’t expect authentic flavours/ opts for a more Americanized Indian food palate. I can however say I enjoyed the masala chai – tea was strong enough and sugar was served on the side to add yourself which I appreciated.

As a frequent patron of your establishment, I wish to express a concern regarding a recent order placed on November 23rd. While the culinary quality remains consistently excellent, I found the portion sizes for a takeout order exceeding $100 to be notably small in relation to the price. I believe a reassessment of the quantity-to-price ratio would enhance the overall value proposition for your customers. I have posted a picture of the Malai kofta aswell to show how low the quantity was barely half the container .

Had an amazing experience at this Indian restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious, full of authentic flavors and perfectly cooked. Every dish tasted fresh and well-prepared, making it one of the best Indian meals I’ve had.

Honestly one of the best Indian meals I’ve had in Toronto. Everything tasted fresh and full of flavour, and the spices were on point. The butter chicken was unreal and the naan came out hot and fluffy. Service was super friendly and quick, and the place has a really nice, relaxed vibe. Definitely coming back and would recommend it to anyone craving good Indian food.

The ambient is good large number of dishes. What I don’t like about this place was that We ordered chilli potato for appetizers and they were the worst I have ever tried it wasn’t even chilli potato, I have tried this dish several times and have even cooked it at home multiple times the potato’s should be covered in the layer of spices and cornstarch and should be fried in oil then you saute them in sauce and veggies but in this restaurant they gave us boiled potato instead of fried. Service of waiters is up to the mark really polite and well trained. My dining experience at this establishment typically occurs approximately every three weeks, with my most recent visit on October 7, 2025. Upon placing a phone order for appetizers, with an estimated arrival time of 15 minutes, the staff assured us that the order would be prepared upon our arrival. However, we experienced an additional 25-minute wait before the food was served. The dry chili chicken, specifically, was noticeably overcooked, appearing to have been fried multiple times, resulting in a dry texture and diminished flavor profile. Lamb vindaloo also tasted a bit blanch.

Have been coming here for the past 6 years and it is my absolute favourite Indian restaurant! Sweta was very sweet and welcoming. Great portions, tasty food & cozy ambience. Would highly recommend to anyone in the area!
