I got here around 10:00 and was greeted quickly. As my first time, I didn’t know what to expect so I got the three piece combo. The guy asked me with a friendly attitude if I wanted more cane sauce and I said sure! Except he didn’t mention it cost more.
The chicken tenders came out very hot but they barely had any seasoning on them. Good thing I had to pay extra for that sauce because I needed it to add any flavor. On top of that, the included portion of sauce is not possibly enough for three tenders and fries.
The music was too loud inside so I went outside to eat, but the guy washing the sidewalk and doors outside was trying his best to work around the people eating outdoors but I still felt the mist on my legs and I had to cover my food in case it got in there.
Also why are the trash cans already full at 10:15AM? Did they not take them out?

Where’s the hype?
Saturday morning at 10:30, the parking lot was empty, and there was no line to order or wait for food. For a moment, I even wondered, Should I even eat here? I checked Yelp, and it only had a three-star rating? Is this really the place people waited hours for just a few weeks ago?
Still, since I was already there, I decided to give it a try. I ordered the Box Combo, which includes one Cane’s Sauce. I asked what other sauces they had and got a recommendation for Honey Mustard, which I added (+$0.59). After about five minutes, my food was ready. I ordered to-go but decided to eat in-store to enjoy the chicken while it was crispy.
The overall atmosphere of the restaurant was casual and laid-back, and the employees matched that vibe.
Now, let’s talk about the food!
(For context, I’m not a huge fan of chicken, but I do enjoy nuggets and fingers.)
First off, will this meal leave a lasting impression? Honestly, I’m not sure.
Maybe some people love this kind of food, but nothing about the chicken fingers, fries, coleslaw, or sauce felt special to me. Out of the four chicken fingers, two looked soggy the moment I opened the box. I was expecting crispy chicken fingers! The fries? Ordinary. The coleslaw? Same. Even the highly recommended Honey Mustard didn’t stand out.
So, what exactly is this place selling?
The concept and image? Or the food?
Was this really the same place people were waiting hours in line for?
The tenders were diabolical – not even breaded all the way
Ordered online and they make you come inside to pick the order up. Fast food is about convenience and there’s a reason I ordered online so that I can get the order at the drive thru. I won’t support a business like this with silly rules that make pick up difficult
