I recently (15 minutes ago/01/13/2026) left from this location and asked for my fries to be extra crispy– so they could be extremely fresh. The nice lady that took my order in the drive through explained to me that by requesting crispy fries, the cooks will leave the fries cooking for an extra 30 minutes. I said “that would be great” and thanked her for explaining it because she was really nice with her communication. There was no A/V system or microphone in place for her to directly speak to the kitchen to let them know about “crispy” fries…which means that my order didnt go through until I paid.
After paying, it took only 15 seconds to get to the 2nd windows for food pick up because there were no cars in front of me. Upon reaching the windows, my food was already sitting on the counter “waiting” for me. The lady at the window gave me my straw and cup and then turned around to grab and give me my food.
Because I knew the food was sitting there, I quickly tasted the fried and they weren’t fresh or crispy. I asked the lady at the window and she said “let me get my manager because im not sure if they cooked them crispy.”
The manager (African American lady at the time) came and quickly responded with “they were cooked crispy because they left them in an extra 30 seconds”. I further asked her “So even though it only took 15 seconds from the time the order was placed to the time I reached the window, and o ly an additional 10 seconds for the lady to open the window and hand me my items.” The manager confirmed “yes, they left them in an extra 30 seconds to be crispy.”
I was frustrated that she was clearly not listening to what I was saying and clearly wanted to just be right and keep me moving along… I told her “these seconds aren’t adding up and not only are these fries not crispy, they taste warm and old. Can I just get some fresh fries please?”
She then proceeded to say, “I will take your whole tray and give you new tenders as well.”
I said “You dont have to, the chicken is fine.”
She said “Well we can’t take your food back in the kitchen and give you back the same food so I have to give you everything new.” I said “Oh okay, that’s fine, thank you.” She then asked me to pull up.
After waiting 6 additional minutes, she brought the box of food with very fresh fries in it. When attempting to grab a tender, I realized the shape of them looked exactly like what I had before AND I saw the tender that I already took a bite out of.
It was that moment that it was very clear… this manager was FULL of lies AND she took customer toughed and eaten food BACK to the kitchen.
Sometimes humility is all people really need…not perfection. Lies and liars do not make good leaders and dont create trust when it comes to fast food restaurants.
If you dont mind paying too much for food, then yeah its pretty good.
Service is always good there, never had a problem with the people there.
