Great service and very fresh ingredients! The food looked beautiful, but unfortunately, it lacked flavor and felt a bit bland. Everything was high-quality, just needed more seasoning. Good for a quick, fresh lunch, but not the most flavorful Mexican-inspired food in town.”

Melina served us the most delicious blackened shrimp and brisket gluten free soft corn tortilla tacos I’ve ever had. So good. I wish I had ordered some to go!! Thanks Melina for providing this celiac lady a safe experience. You helped me feel comfortable in my ordering experience. I highly recommend their tocos. Priced fairly with delicious, flavorful, fresh ingredients. Main St location. Photo shows a bite taken. I couldn’t wait to dive in!!

This is the type of place you go if your man has his hat on backward and you want to overpay for drinks made with cheap liquor. The food is okay, but nothing stands out as particularly good. The guacamole appears to come from a bag and has an odd consistency. There’s no free salsa here—nope, it’s $6.50.

The staff seems young and inexperienced. If you sit at a table, you pay at the end, but if you sit at the bar for lunch, you’re required to open a tab with a card.

Overall, it’s just not very enjoyable or worth it, especially considering how many better options there are in the area.

This place has it all. Great cocktails (had the best blood orange margarita!) great food, and great atmosphere. The staff was pleasant, the vibe is hip and fun, it’s a great place for adults of all ages to come unwind after work or near friends for dinner.

I don’t know who needs to hear this, but I have officially met my emotional support enchiladas.
I just left and ordered the chicken enchiladas. What arrived at my table was not just food — it was a spiritual experience wrapped in tortillas and baptized in sauce. These were hands-down two of the best chicken enchiladas of my life. I took one bite and genuinely had to pause to reflect on my past decisions. Where have these enchiladas been all my life? Why did no one prepare me?
The chicken was perfectly seasoned, juicy, and clearly raised with love and good intentions. The sauce? Rich, flavorful, and just spicy enough to make me feel alive without sending me into a full sweat-induced identity crisis. The cheese melted like it had a degree in dramatic performance.
And then there was my waiter, Ryan.
Ryan didn’t just “serve” the table. Ryan curated an experience. My water glass never dipped below the danger line. Chips and salsa were replenished with the precision of a Formula 1 pit crew. At one point, I’m pretty sure he sensed I was about to run low on enchilada and emotionally prepared me for it. That’s talent.

Everything was perfect from start to finish. Melina was my waitress, and she was incredibly sweet, attentive, and made the experience even better. The service was amazing and everything was on point.

The food was outstanding — I had the Peruvian shrimp, buffalo chicken, and the new shrimp po’ boy. Every dish was a 10/10.

I highly recommend this location and will definitely be returning!

I’m sorry, something has changed. I have visited twice over last 30 days and the experience was not pleasant. (Jan 10, 2026) The greeting at the entrance was subpar. The hostess did not want to seat a party of 3 at larger table verses the bar, in which we had to insist that an empty table be cleared so that we could enjoy table seating.
The tacos were in my opinion (okay); whereas previously they were EXCELLENT! What has changed?
The website looks appealing, however the quality of the soft filled tacos are not as they appear. On the second visit (02/05/2026) @ around 4:00 pm, I ordered the steak and shrimp filled taco, which the menu claims to be tender, but it was not the case! The steak was tuff, appeared to be prepared early, perhaps sitting in warmer for extended period. I even had to let the waitress aware that I bit into not one (1), but two (2) pieces of bone fragments, in which she was very apologetic and offered to compensate item, which I stated, “do not worry about it), due to fact that I had eaten majority of it. (party of two seated near kitchen.) The tacos were not even warm and shrimp was also tough. I also had house margarita, which really lacked any punch whatsoever.
I noted kitchen and salad bowl taco shells precooked and stacked, along with various staff members seeming very lackluster. Although I try not to be critical, I felt that I really needed to say something (sorry that I did not speak to management on those days).
I may try once more, as I truly hope to have the experience that I first had a while back.

Phenomenal experience! Long story short…must do Chips Trio! Salsa, Guacamole, and Queso were perfect as a starter and extremely and uniquely flavorful. We ordered 5 different tacos to share – Surf and Turf was our favorite, but we loved the Peruvian, Brisket, Buffalo (little spicy), and blackened Shrimp. I can’t say enough about the quality and flavor. Each taco was $4.50 – $5.00 and Trio Chips was $13.00. So 5 tacos, trio and 2 beers was $56.00 without tip. EXTREMELY worth it. In downtown Columbia and plenty to do within just a few blocks. Must visit! Our waitress, Emma was like a hawk and fulfilled every need!

Downtown Columbia can be considered a melting pot of good food, entertainment, and fun times. And when you’re in search of a new favorite lunch spot, it can be a little overwhelming.  Luckily for us, a friend recommended Cantina 76. Oh my goodness, I thought I’d be transported to another life for the just that good.

We were seated immediately, and our order was taken shortly after. The waiter was polite, competent, and helpful. The food was absolutely delicious! Would definitely recommend and revisit. I didn’t have time to write my usual review, but I’ve provided photos. Hope you get a chance to check out the awesome place.

This is a solid restaurant! It’s not my favorite Mexican place, but I like this one a lot better than the Cantina on Devine street.

I sat at the bar and got a margarita and some chips, which is pretty basic, but which was good nonetheless.

The only thing that.I found a little bit odd about the restaurant is that there were a lot of employees there, but only 1.5 of them were working. I don’t really know why they were there just to stand around and do nothing.

Nevertheless, I would recommend!
