Raising Cane’s in Clearwater, FL is easily one of the best spots around when you’re craving simple, fresh, and consistently great chicken. They focus on doing one thing really well, and they absolutely nail it. The chicken fingers are always hot, crispy on the outside, and juicy on the inside, and the quality is noticeably better than most fast food places.
The real star though is the Cane’s Sauce. It’s honestly addictive and takes everything to another level. Whether you’re dipping the chicken, fries, or even the Texas toast in it, it just works. I could probably buy a bottle of that sauce alone and be happy.
The restaurant itself is very clean and well run, and the staff is friendly, quick, and organized even when the line gets busy. Orders come out fast and everything is fresh. The Texas toast is perfectly buttery, the crinkle-cut fries are always crispy, and the sweet tea is exactly how it should be.
If you’re in Clearwater and want great chicken, great sauce, and fast service, Raising Cane’s is a must-stop. Simple menu, great food, and consistently solid every time. I’ll definitely keep coming back.

It was ok. The chicken was fresh and tasty, but plain. Coleslaw was good. I did not care for the peppery sauce. Hot Dave’s is still our favorite.

The staff was friendly and fast. My order of 3 chicken fingers cane out fast and fresh. The chicken was nive and hit and crispy and the fries were fresh. There was no salt or seasoning on the fries so not my favorite but with a small amount of the Raising Canes sauce they are delightful. The piece of bread that came with my combo meal was very good and tasty. The meal was a bit expensive but worth it in my opinion. Bringing my son next time I go !

Raising Cane’s on E. Bay Dr. in Largo serves hot food: $11.99 for 4 chicken fingers, french fries, coleslaw, garlic bread and a drink. Big bonus is the eclectic 80s mix with Whitney, R.E.M., Romantics, INXS and Stray Cats.

Straight forward menu with 4 choices. Tendies were good although a little on the small side. Canes sauce is fire. Have to pay for lemonade refills, not cool. Diverse types of music playing. Ironic that “chicken fried” by Zac Brown played while we were there. Sweet tea was very good. Friendly staff.

The chicken was so good and their sauce was pretty delicious . The outside seating area was pretty large and the inside seating was ok they didnt offer as many tables as I think they would have had vs the amount of business they get. But the food is what matters and it was really good.

Raising Cane’s is definitely not the worst restaurant out there, but I don’t like this place. The decor of the place seems uninspired, messy, and trendy. However, the restaurant was clean. The service was nothing special, but they were quick with the food.
The menu is very short, but the food itself is pretty good. The chicken tenders were crisp and the fires tasted good with the sauce, and the toast. However, it’s pretty disappointing that the menu is short. Overall, I’d pick Chick Fil A over this.
