I had a curbside order and I waited 20 minutes past the order time to go up to one of the ladies working the outside drive thru. She said she would bring me my food. She brings it to me and I check it and it does not have any sauce. So, I go back to the lady who is talking to a coworker that is inside the window passing out food. This worker inside the window looks directly at me while she is talking to her coworker and she yells rudely, “I said she got her sauce. I check every bag twice”. I told her feel free to check my bag, I have ketchup, but no sauce that was supposed to go with 25 pieces of chicken.. So, for about 10 minutes, for some reason its a fiasco to get sauce. Outside lady asked to look in my bag and just as she was about to, another coworker brought sauce. So, all my food was cold and soggy by the time I got home. Cold soggy food is not worth getting talked rudely to over some sauce I paid for.. All in all the 3 people outside working the drive thru were apologetic and were nice. Im just not sure this is worth coming back again. There are plenty of other chicken places that offer friendly service.

Here’s a clear, honest 2-star review you can use:

I’m giving Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers 3 stars. The food was at least hot and fresh, so I’ll give them credit for that. However, the chicken itself had very little flavor. It wasn’t bad, just pretty bland and underwhelming. The Cane’s sauce and the honey mustard were honestly not good at all — both had a strange taste that I just couldn’t get into. Overall, it wasn’t terrible, but it definitely wasn’t worth coming back for. I won’t be returning.

The chicken was ok and apparently real fresh. In fact so fresh it burnt holes into the styrofoam. Personally, I feel that the sauce should be free or simply add more than one serving in the meal. Yea its ok but its not gold.

First time visiting Raising Cane’s. Saw the owner on shark tank, so had to see what the big deal was.
It’s good, I wasn’t blown away, but satisfied.

It was a bit expensive for my taste, paying almost $30 for two tender meals is not my style.

We live about 3hrs away from the closest one, so I’ll stick with my local chicken tender store.

What an amazing experience. As a Canadian we do not have this in our region. Me and my boyfriend visited this location well in vacation as it was a bucket list item of mine. The atmosphere was amazing! Super fun and upbeat! The service was also great. Super fast and everyone was so friendly. Food was very good as well just would have liked for the chicken to be a little more crunchy. Other then that no complaints at all!

Raising Cane’s in Tallahassee delivers exactly what it’s known for fresh, hot chicken fingers, fast service, and a simple, no-frills menu while still leaving just enough room for improvement to land comfortably at four stars instead of five.

Food quality is the clear highlight. The chicken fingers are consistently described as juicy, tender, and freshly cooked, with a light, crispy coating that doesn’t feel overly greasy. Many first-time visitors especially those who’ve heard the hype or traveled specifically to try Cane’s walk away satisfied.

The signature Cane’s sauce is the star of the meal for most guests and is often called addictive, “to-die-for,” or the reason people keep coming back. The crinkle-cut fries are salty and filling, the Texas toast is thick, buttery, and flavorful enough to eat on its own, and the fresh-made lemonade is a standout bonus that elevates the fast-food experience.

The menu simplicity is both a strength and a limitation. Cane’s does one thing and sticks to it, which keeps quality consistent and service fast. However, guests looking for variety or customization may feel underwhelmed, especially those comparing it to similar chicken-focused chains. Some reviewers note that while the food is good, it isn’t life changing and expectations matter here.

Service is generally very strong. Many guests praise the staff for being friendly, polite, and efficient, even during busy lunch and dinner rushes. Orders are often prepared quickly, online pickup is smooth, and employees frequently guide guests through the process, especially first-timers. The restaurant itself is usually described as clean, well-maintained, and upbeat, with a modern, energetic atmosphere.

That said, service is not perfectly consistent. A handful of reviews mention minor attitude issues, eye-rolling, or lack of initiative in certain situations, such as handling small requests or assisting with lost items. While these experiences are not the norm, they stand out because customer service is such a big part of the Cane’s brand. Management responses are prompt and professional, which helps mitigate these concerns.

Value and pricing receive mixed reactions. Many customers feel the food is worth the price because of freshness and portion size, while others find it slightly expensive for a limited menu. Drive-thru wait times can also be long during peak hours, and traffic flow issues have been noted, which can be frustrating for regular customers.

Atmosphere-wise, the restaurant has a fun, casual, and welcoming vibe, though some guests mention loud music, greasy floors during high traffic periods, or crowded dining areas. These are minor operational issues rather than deal-breakers.

Bottom line:

Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers in Tallahassee is a reliable, high-quality fast-food option that excels at what it does best: fresh chicken, great sauce, fast service, and a clean environment. While it may not wow everyone or meet sky-high expectations, it delivers consistent satisfaction and keeps people coming back.

A strong 4-star experience especially for chicken lovers, first-timers, and anyone craving comfort food done right.

The food is great, but I won’t come here too often. The music is so loud they have to scream people’s names at the top of their lungs.

Awful, awful, awful! Manager tried to charge us for lemons when we ordered a gallon of tea, until my husband raised cane, Spent $25 for 5 chicken fingers, fries & tea. Fries were cold, wimpy and tasteless, chicken fingers were “pinkies”. Had to wait on tea & lemons till our food got cold. We’ll never go back. Go to Chick Fila, where it’s a pleasure to be served, not here, where waiting is an eternity, service is lousy & food sub par.

I live in Jacksonville, FL and i have frequently went to Texas on n often and heard about this place Rising Canes!! I tried in Texas Last year and it was really good! However i wasn’t aware they opened a store in Tallahasse, FL!!! I decided to take the Drive n visit the Chicken Finger Restaurant!!! The place is big as i thought! The way it is Built reminds me of Chick Fil A + White Castle Combined together!! The Drive thru not a lot of people were there, However inside the store it was not much people either. The Place inside looks really NICE!!! They Have Disco Balls, Bricks Styles, and the Smell of Food was amazing!!! The Prices were not bad however i didn’t want a drink because i had my own Sodas in my car and it came out a bit cheaper without the drink. I got the food Fresh!!! and i tried it out and it taste SUPER Yummy, Tasty, Juicy White Meat!!! The Fries were Amazing, and Cane Sauce was super Yummy!!! I really Recommand this place to everyone that wants to try this food :).

Similar to other fast food chains with chicken fingers. The lemonade we had is made fresh which is a good thing. Chicken was quite soft and nice.
