we’ve ate here 4 times now, the last 2 for fall crawl. this place is so overhyped if you ask me. we’ve had friendly waiters every time, but the food is so mild. the first two times were for breakfast & we waited probably an hour to an hour & 15 min for food for 4 people. mind you, no one else was there besides us. it wasn’t packed. friday evening we ate dinner here. wait time for food was about 20 minutes this time. i got the 2 piece cat fish with extra fries to replace the coleslaw because im not a fan. the catfish looked like two small chicken tenders & my plate was 98% fries because of how small the fish pieces were. i was baffled because every cat fish dinner i’ve ever gotten didn’t look like two chicken tenders. saturday night the “loaded fries” were potatoes cut into round slices (not fries) & were not even cooked all the way. we got two bites & the rest of the potatoes were hard as a rock & cold. the pizza has 3 inches of cheese on it & that’s all you taste. i get it, they get a lot of orders but this place is not what everyone says it is & i would spend your money elsewhere.

Most of the employees are so friendly Their food is tasty.
I’ve had 2 issues with the quality of fuel I’ve put into my vehicle. Overall, I believe this is a productive business for this small community.

The ladies there are very nice and friendly. This means a lot these days. Some don’t have the patience to work with the public. My husband loves their cheeseburgers, he says when you pick it up to eat you know the difference right anyway…it’s heavier, like a homemade burger, full, meaty, not slight on fixings, nice thick slice of tomato. I’d say it’s perfectly designed for a hungry man on the go.

Food was good the smell in the place made you want some even if you were not hungry. Charge 2.59 to refill my cup OK, $1 more I get because I have cup as big as my hands getting to be excess. They insisted on filling it even though the tea I could get myself? Told them lite ice, they crammed it full of ice drink was watered down within 30 minutes basically paid $3.59 for 20% tea 80% ice I would have been better of buying half gallon of tea for less. This would have greatly changed my outlook on their business practices, tea has a 90% yield markup. Sad thing is I am staying with in 10 miles of this place for over a month and would have stopped in a couple of times a week. Total of my meal was around $11 with tax refill brought it to over $15 and I was ok with that but over something that cost them 25¢. In the end it cost them a lot more. Even if a gallon, over 75% frozen tap water if you don’t get that it will be a loss you will repeat over and over. I have ran restaurants and managed below 10% food waste when I was allowed 18% so to say I know food cost is an understatement .

Everything I had was well prepared. Girl working was friendly. Ingredients were prime even off hour and off season. Good value. Couldn’t ask for more from a small local place.

Bought 2 bbq sandwichs and A large fry, the Price advertised was very different when i paid. 3.89 pre sandwich but I got charged 8.99 each. Seemed like I was charged for dinners but I didn’t get dinners. Gas is very watered down cause I got some in jug just to know. It looked like water and couldn’t really smell gas like I should have. Very over priced and most of all, the open is turned on but doors are locked at 7pm and 8pm.. ridiculous service

I’ve never gotten a bad meal here and the prices are great. It’s a diner inside a convenience store, is what it is. But, the food is great and the service/price are exceptional values.

Good food, polite people, priced right. Thank you for a great breakfast. Yes it’s inside a convenient store but there is also seating in the restaurant area.

A great place to fill up gas, groceries, to sit and eat, or to go. And now I see I can rent U-HAUL! I don’t need to travel a long distance to rent a trailer for the afternoon. If you have visited Alaska, this place will remind you of an Outpost with the railroad close at hand. Friendly, helpful advice and they won’t sell you anything that you don’t need. Fresh food for camping, fishing, kayaking the Poor Fork that’s just across the road. A jewel of a destination!
