Great place! The food was fantastic. I enjoyed the BBQ sandwich with French fries and an extra tasty fried pickle. It was piled high with meat and pre-dressed in BBQ sauce, which I appreciated. I also tried the blackened catfish that was well cooked with good flavored. The service was friendly and the food came out quick. 10/10 recommend.

Delicious food at value pricing. The Carolina BBQ is my favorite outside of Asheville and the prime rib is amazing. Pricing is very reasonable. As others have said, the dining room could use a makeover…. But I’m not there to stare at the walls.

Good BBQ sandwiches and fries. Skip the coleslaw. Comes with a yummy fried pickle. Large open room that reminds me of a school cafeteria. Needs a makeover. Servers were not happy which made the experience less enjoyable. Better as a To Go Order place.

I visited this place about year ago and I liked it. The food is good and the staff is friendly. This year my family and I went. We were told by the waitress that there would be at least a 45 minute wait, maybe more. The reason being is the cook walked out. The staff was having trouble getting a hold of the owner. The cook was mad that there was a small amount of staff scheduled. The owner needs to take more responsibility of their business.

called well before midnight, asked if I could place a take out order and the answer was “no ma’am” I wanted two sandwiches. Don’t recommend to people traveling and they definitely aren’t open till “1am” would give zero stats if I could.

What a great meal. I was looking for a place for my family to meet up for a birthday dinner that was convenient for my daughter. I picked Rackem Sackem at random and boy I’m glad I did. I had the ribs and they were great. Others ordered the oysters and the were perfectly prepared. The fried dill pickles and fried green tomatoes were so good we kept reordering. We will definitely be back even though it’s an hour drive for us. Highly recommend.

For as long as our food took to come out, one would have expected it to be smoking hot – sadly, that wasn’t the case; food was lukewarm and the green beans were spicy according to my 3 year old granddaughter. The service was excellent, there was only one server and she did everything. The atmosphere was kind of homey and friendly.

First time eating here and omggg it’s so good. We’re here for work and getting ready to leave but we will be back one more time before we leave. Highly recommend this place for dinner. Yummy prices weren’t bad either. Great food!!
