Love, love, love the Dutch bros team and coffee!

They are my ride or die – Dutch bros coffee is the only coffee I like. On top of the great drinks, the team is the best – always have had a great experience here.
To people saying it’s slow… it’s a small place – it’s going to take a second if someone orders a bunch for one order. When I let the team know I was in a rush, they put in my order and I didn’t have to pay UNTIL I had it, so if I had to leave if it took too long I wasn’t out the money.
They deserve a round of applause.

I got the brand new banana bread coffee. I don’t recommend it. I don’t know if the girl heard me when I said oatmilk but i immediately had a reaction as I took a sip because the coffee itself tasted burnt. It was a rush and I was driving home when I tried the coffee. The girl was very nice and polite no hate to her. Just the product.

Today, I asked a friend to pick up a drink for me while I caught a short nap after a 15-hour shift. I work late nights and quite a distance away, so I requested the drink with no ice—simply so I could refrigerate it for later without it becoming watered down.
While I understand that requesting no ice can change the cost, and I wasn’t bothered by the additional charge itself, the experience he had was disappointing. He was charged double and his drink was prepared after customers who arrived after him. More concerning was the way he was spoken to. He was treated as though his request was unreasonable or unintelligent, and the explanation about the upcharge was delivered without courtesy or professionalism.
Dutch Bros makes great drinks, and that’s why I continue to return. However, respectful customer service is just as important. As someone who has worked in the service industry for many years—and now as a business owner myself—I would never allow my employees to speak to customers the way my friend was spoken to today.
I’m not upset about the price; I’m disappointed in the lack of respect. I hope this feedback helps improve future customer interactions.

As a newbie in the Dutch Bros world, I must say I see what the hype is about. The energy is always upbeat and positive, and the lines move fairly quickly. I order the Caramelizer and I love that I can make additions to suit my tastebuds at no extra cost. I’ve been here 3x and each time my order was made correctly and I left a happy customer.

Not only was the girl taking our order extremely rude (cut us off while we were speaking multiple times in a rude way), my husband ordered a holiday cookie drink and was told that they did not have the holiday sprinkles but they would still make the drink for him. What they didn’t tell us was this meant they would do a “custom” drink and charge us $1 extra per ingredient that goes into the latte. His drink that should have been $5.75 turned into almost a $10 drink. Used to love this location and Dutch Bros but will not be wasting our money here any longer. Their espresso consistently tastes burnt also. :/

I will still go back because they are nice, I am just saddened at the lack of communication, excellence aimed towards and quality allowed in the coffee realm. Also, I am very tired today and don’t buy much espresso anymore cause I just make my own at home. So the patience might be missing. I was also a barista and coffee shop manager for years.
What you read is not me expecting perfection.

My 7 minutes through Dutch: Come out and meet me in the line on a cold day, take my order, thank you so much!! I love it.

I order like this: a 16 oz Americano with 4 total shots of espresso, coconut and 1/2 & 1/2.

Its all good I had to repeat the 4 shots part.

Get to window.

“Hey, how are you?” Lots of joy beaming from the inside to welcome me! Love it!! Thank you

She asked me, “did you order the small americano?”
(Which I didn’t.)
I asked her, “hmm, what size is that?” (Cause I am just double checking on if 16oz is now their small?)
She doesn’t know the sizes. (Neither did the girl who took my order obviously.) So she asks 1 of the other 9 broistas around. (Takes a while to get an answer from any of them, all the while, when she asks those people while showing them/pointing to the small cup… I immediately know its 12oz, lolol. Good morning with my high functioning tired brain. I finally answer her question I said no, I didn’t, (cause I specifically ordered a 16 oz (medium))

While assuring me, oh don’t worry we will remake it. I know yall will eventually get it right!!
Now my brain is just caught up on is there gonna be the other stuff in it. She looks on the computer, doesnt look like she sees coconut on there from the original order taker… She goes to make sure there is.

At this point: Its all good, I aint mad. A little annoyed because the first things I learned as a barista were sizes, communication, listening…then mastered all the rest out of passion. There is some grace coming through throughout all this.

I get my drink, no coconut. Not even a hint.
She assures me, oh we will remake it. I say, “or you could just add some coconut.”

They add some right there… While I am attempting to not micromanage them with my eyes…

She asks, is that good. I taste it. Barely taste it, but, at this point I don’t really care. I like black coffee and I don’t drink dutch cause its amazing.

An hour later, 1/3 of the way into it. There is all the coconut… not stirred into the drink. So sweet. Its all good though. I will still go back. Ive never had a rude experience at Dutch. I could have amazing coffee with rude experience, and never go back.

If you are an employee here. I encourage you. Learn all you can about Dutch, about espresso drinks in general, sizes, amounts, names, nuances, and get passionate about excellence in quality and service. You set peoples days up for some of how their day is gonna go. I will still be back cause at least I will get someone asking me about my day and maybe my kids in the car who have no complaints will have cups that bring them joy too.

This location is amazing! Lainey is awesome and always has a contagious smile. The line moves fast, the drinks are great, but the positivity that everyone has really makes it worth the stop!

The staff here is amazing. Never had an issue with a drink or had a bad experience with their staff. If corporate reads these; this branch deserves recognition. Used to live in Portland and this is by far the best Dutch experience I have had.

I’ve been coming a few times a week for a few months now and I can say, this is the slowest dutch bros I’ve been to, across 3 different states. Don’t waste your time ordering ahead, you’ll still wait 20 minutes after getting there (30 after placing the order). There can be 5 people in line or 15 and it’s always a 15-30 minute wait. They need to hire more people, and have them experience the upbeat attitudes of dutch employees at other locations. I wanted to support my local store, but I’ll be driving further for coffee from now on sadly.
