The food was AMAZING. I had the Nick and Nora and can’t stop thinking about it. Service was quick and friendly and the atmosphere is perfect for a morning brunch or a study session. I particularly loved the decorative bookshelves.

As an avid bagel eater, this has been one of the absolute most delicious places I’ve ever tried! Krystal was also super sweet, welcoming, and patient with us out-of-towners. Although this little place was tucked away, it had a very calm and clean atmosphere. Whether you live here or visiting, I HIGHLY recommend trying this bagel shop!

This place certainly had bagels. The bagels themselves were appropriately put together, especially considering the low standard in this region. Some points are getting taken off for the lack of toasting (requested). The breakfast burrito was in fact a burrito with eggs in it, however it left some room to be desired. It had an excess of potatoes and an absence of flavors. I liked the red sauce. The interior choices were just fine. Scrambling eggs on a bacon egg and cheese is borderline hateful. Will return. The coffee was in fact brown.

The bagels never fail here! They’re super generous with the toppings and the combinations are great. Out of the ones I’ve tried, the Nick & Nora bagel with lox is my favorite.

The service and atmosphere are great! They added in seating as well. (Though when it’s a little busy, it’s hard to grab a seat)

If you want to try different bagels, make sure to go early! They do run out.

Update (June 2025):
While still a good local breakfast spot, in the year or so between coming here, the quality of the biscuit sandwiches in particular has changed. The biscuit was no longer flaky and dense as it was before and the sandwich had less ingredients compared to the first time coming here. The photo comparison shows a good idea of what it was vs what it is. Considering the consistency the first 3 times being here, I am bummed at the downturn. The bagel sandwich is still great and it is still one of the best everything bagels around.

Review March 2024:
Good enough to come here three days in a row. Parking is street only which is probably the only bad thing as ordering is quick and service is quick and efficient. Fresh ingredients and a tasty way to start your day. The hello macnasty is particularly delicious with the hot honey and biscuit. Would recommend if you’re in the area and looking for some crave worthy breakfast items.

5/5 every time! We’ve gotten bagels from Rachel’s a variety of times and they are hands down some of my favorites. I love the everything, zatar, and the cherry bagels. Excellent cold brew, excellent bagels sandwiches. I recommend going early, there can be a wait at times. We generally go three days before throwing them in the freezer and the freezer is always stocked with at least a 1/2 a dozen bagels most of the time. They defrost quickly in the oven and taste SO great, that’s hard to say about frozen anything in my opinion. If you haven’t tried Rachel’s yet now is the time!!

I ordered a bagel sandwich thinking it would be hot, and not cold deli meat considering the description. Everything tasted wonderful, and the service was pretty quick considering how busy they were. I will say the sandwich descriptions didn’t help me out in ordering correctly for my dietary needs.

First time visit. Ordered a half dozen bagels and breakfast burrito to go. Service was friendly and welcoming. I was out in 10 minutes. Place has a cafe feel and is expanding into larger space. The bagels were delicious, great chew, not dense or too airy. The burrito was excellent stuffed full with steak, cheese, potatoes, and more. I asked for hot sauce and Rachel’s delivered- I was in tears and loving it. Will definitely return again and highly recommend.

I’ve been here three times and unfortunately every time has been a miss for me. Caveat, I’ve lived in NY and have high expectations for my bagels. This place has small compact bagels that are more bready and less molass-y. I recommend getting your bagels right instead of trying unique/trendy options like togarashi and Za’atar (tasted like a spice rack dumped on top of bread). And fix your toaster. A bagel shop without a toaster is like serving coffee and saying “sorry no milk”.

All their bagels, except the one with cheese, were vegan. The bagels were large, airy, and delicious. For just the bagel, it was $3.25 each when seemed reasonable based upon what the others were charging ($3-$3.50 per bagel). Definitely would visit again.
