What happened to this place, the last 2 times I went to the Raceway, I left very disappointed. I won’t go in to all of the issues we had this summer when we went for a fish fry with our friends, the service was terrible, but I thought I would give them another chance so after work I ordered 1 small and 1 large pizza to go and I got home and we couldnt even eat it, there was very little sauce on both pizzas they were so dry I had to peel back the toppings and put my own sauce on it to eat it and for almost $60.00 for a large and small pizza the least you could do is put some sauce on them. I will not be returning!

Didn’t get to eat. Got there and sat at the bar being ignored for 15 minutes. Just when the young(ish) blonde waitress/bartender started coming she stopped to help a lady that had walked up to the bar not 5 seconds earlier. Terrible, terrible service unless (it seemed) you were a regular. Went to Nite Owls instead and were greeted immediately and asked for our drink orders within minutes. NEVER GOING BACK AND WILL WARN OTHERS ABOUT THE SERVICE.

Me and my friend have been here many times, we are regulars. We just came in on a quiet monday night to enjoy their jalapeno poppers as they are our favorite menu item, and as soon as we walked in, we got kicked out for not having ID’s. It’s not even a “Bar” it is a BAR AND GRILL. No laws state you need to be 21 to enjoy the food, and no policies are listed! I would understand if it was the first time of us going, but we have been here so many times, at least once a week. The woman who kicked us out was a short middle-aged fake-blonde girl with glasses. Maybe she was new since we have never seen her, but all I wanted was to decompress at my favorite restaurant. Raceway, please train your staff on the Wisconsin law!

I was visiting here and witnessed a regular physically assault another customer over a comment that the bartender said to this regular. Afterwards the bartenders proceeded to tell the customers that they were the problem and kicked them out right after this “regular” said to “meet me in the parking lot”. They asked if they could stay in the bar and wait for the guys to leave and the bartenders said no and to leave immediately.

Stopped in for a grilled chicken sandwich and had some fries. Bartender was very nice as well as the food was phenomenal. Some of the best fries I’ve had in a long time. Perfect ratio of Diveyness to classy where any crowd can be in there and not feel out of place. Would 10 out of 10 recommend and will certainly be back.

This place was a disaster tonight. One person behind the bar, one waitress not old enough to serve alcoholic drinks – on a Friday night with a full house. We went to the bar to order our own drinks knowing that only the bar tender could serve, which is perfectly fine, but it took 15 minutes for 4 old fashions to be made. She made 2/4, started pouring for other customers, handed out to go orders, made our 3rd drink, poured beers for another customer, finally made our 4th drink. Food took about 45 minutes to come out and the fish was very overdone to the point that the waitress brought out fresh from the next batch (which wasn’t much better) without us asking which was appreciated but she gave us three pieces for six 2-3 piece fish frys so there were still several pieces that didn’t get eaten. Fries were cold. We were afraid to ask for regular drink refills, a split check, or anything extra we needed because it wasn’t worth the extra wait. Had to ask twice for a beer to be brought to the table. Can’t blame the people working, it’s not their fault the place is understaffed, but it seems like training could be better based on everything we observed tonight. Why is there only one person who can serve alcohol and where was the owner on a Friday night with so few people working? Overall disappointing.

Rode here for lunch on a Friday because I wanted to check it out. Food was pretty good but overpriced ($25 for a bottle of beer, wrap, and chips). Service and atmosphere left something to be desired. Wouldn’t go out of my way to go back again.

Good beer selection. Apps were excellent, some of the best cheese curds we ever had. Chicken sandwiches were tasty and moist. Only complaint might be that the wings weren’t tossed unless requested (which we didn’t realize).

I had a very disturbing experience at Raceway Car and Grille. While I was there, I witnessed what appeared to be a regular customer named Randy grab a woman by the neck during an argument. What shocked me even more was that the bartender (Erica) saw this happen and still allowed him to stay in the bar as if nothing had happened. He continued to verbally threaten the woman. The bartender kept saying “I just work here”, instead of kicking the man out and apologizing. It was my first time there and definitely my last. That kind of behavior is unacceptable, unsafe, and shows a complete lack of concern for the safety of guests. I will not be returning and I would strongly caution others about going to a place where violence is tolerated.
