A great place to get Italian and American food in West Seattle. Very great service and great ambience. My favorite dish was their pasta followed by the salmon Crudo, which was a bit thicker than most places I’ve had before. Their burger was good too, had a classic taste to it. Overall, I recommend and would come back.

Had NYE dinner here and it was a vibe. The staff was great and the food was delicious. We will be back to try the while menu since we were dining on a night with a prix fixe menu.

The only negative about sitting upstairs at night is that the windows are next to an alley that has a hair trigger alley light that turns on and blinds you ever so often

Fabulous meal. Started with the grilled sunchokes and some raw oysters. The pumpkin bread was great, warm and fresh. The honey butter complimented it nicely.
We shared the pasta with pork sausage and the chicken . Everyone had a favorite and the four of us had plenty to eat. Highly recommend!!

Wow! My husband and I celebrated our half year anniversary and it was great. We participated in SRW and loved it all. Special shout outs to the bread service, kind staffing, and the tiramisu!

Came here specifically for the steak and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience.

Upon arrival, we were informed that the only steak available that evening was the 34oz option priced at $150, which already set fairly high expectations for the meal.

The steak arrived with the exterior completely charred — not a sear, but fully carbonized — and the inside was almost well-done. The crust was bitter to the point of being inedible, and the meat itself was overcooked.

After complaining, the restaurant discounted the steak, which I appreciated. However, the 22% service charge was still calculated based on the original price, which felt unreasonable given the situation. After raising the issue again, another adjustment was made.

Hopefully this was just an off night, but it was a disappointing visit overall.

I’m not sure if it was because of the restaurant week preset menu, but the food was not at the level it needs to be for a restaurant that charges $50 per person. The cocktail and wine menu are good, the service is good, and the ambience is solid. The food just misses.

Honestly, nothing about the menu stands out. The flavors are mediocre at best. I would not recommend going here unless they rethink their approach to food.

Edit: The day after…
Thinking about the dishes more, they didn’t execute on their menu. For example the “crudo” which is supposed to be raw fish with citrus was served as raw fish with a dollop of cream… One of the most simplest dishes completely misrepresented.

My partner and I went there a little while back and found the ambiance to be lovely and the servers to be very professional and friendly. The food however… My partner ordered a pasta dish that came undercooked – not al dented – undercooked. Just to be transparent on how I know the difference – I’ve lived with an Italian, visited the country many times, and often frequent Italian restaurants in the city, so I hope you believe me when I say this is an informed opinion. My partner also went to culinary school and used to be a cook. My own meal (black cod) was extremely overpriced for the amount of food that arrived on my plate, and the taste was fine. Not bad not good just fine. We also tried many other things on their menu, and did not find anything to be truly standout. I don’t want to be too harsh because the people working there are lovely but, I won’t be going back.

Just had a New Year’s Eve dinner here and the food was tasty and the service from our server was great.

However, the restaurant adds a 22% service charge. On the bottom of the receipt, it states that only 16% of that goes to the staff and the entire service charge is added before tax, so you’re also paying tax on the service charge itself. By the time everything is added up, it feels more like a 30%+ add-on before you even consider tipping extra.

I’ve worked in the service industry for years and prefer to tip in cash so I know it goes directly to the people taking care of me. So, while the meal was wonderful, this policy leaves a bad taste in my mouth. When I asked our server about it, she said they’ve tried to get management to change it. But we all know that’s unlikely to happen.

I truly hope the staff is getting what they deserve, but I won’t be adding an extra tip on top of a mandatory service fee that’s also taxed. I’d happily tip 25% if it went to the people serving us — but according to the receipt, only 16% does, and the rest goes… somewhere else.

Came here for my wife’s birthday. I had the duck and it was the best since I’ve started ordering here and there. The wife had the pork belly said “fire”. The drinks were good as well. Dessert was great. Overall we loved it and I recommend it and the service was great.
