The Jersey Special is an amazing bagel sandwich. Perfect ratio of SPK. It’s honestly as good as some of the best I’ve had in NYC. Also, the deli has high quality meats at very reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

This is one of the best delis I have ever been to. Lived here for years and never knew about. How did I find out? This establishment has been very supportive of a museum that I volunteer at. Commonwealth coach and trolley. They have amazingly good food and is far better than subway. They have a very clean bathroom as well and the staff is so friendly. I will be back.

Went for the first time today on a recommendation. 10/10 the food was really good and at a great price plus the people were very kind. The store has a lot to look at very home-town local kind of joint.

Great little delicatessen. Great atmosphere and very good service. The food is phenomenal, and it doesn’t break the bank. If you’re from NYC, you’ll really love this place. The bagels are imported from NYC!! It’s like a slice of home. If you have never been to NYC, stop by and try……everything!! This place is that good!!

Absolutely one of the most fun, and delicious places to eat in the Roanoke Valley. Super friendly owners, truly outstanding food, a healthy dose of nostalgia, and excellent value for your money. Every time I have walked in, I’ve been made to feel at home. If you haven’t tried it, you are missing out!

Very cool deli with an awesome vibe and great people. I stopped by today for the first time and got their special. It was suuuuch a great sandwich and the Greek pasta salad that came with it was on point. I work in downtown Roanoke and have definitely found the spot in downtown that I’ll be visiting every week. Thanks for the awesome sandwich!

I strongly recommend against going here for lunch unless you want to drop a small fortune for a mediocre sandwich. I came because the reviews online talked about the great prices, but when I ordered an Italian hero (that they would not warm up) with chips and a drink, it ended up being upwards of twenty dollars. The service was not particularly friendly, and the pricing on the board is highly misleading. I’m usually a supported of local businesses, but save yourself the time and money and go to Jersey Mike’s instead.
