I tried R Burgers for the first time yesterday. I was out to dinner with some friends, celebrating a birthday. I ordered the Chili Cheese Fries. They literally brought me a plate of fries covered in chili and literally just put a bunch of shredded cheese on top. The fries weren’t hot so the cheese didn’t melt at all. I didn’t get a picture of that but when I asked “you don’t melt the cheese?” The lady wasn’t nice about it. Didn’t say a word to me. Just took my plate and took forever to warm it up which when she brought it back it wasn’t all melted. It was still pretty good but the customer service is horrible! I probably won’t go back to this restaurant. I mean who likes unmelted cheese on chili cheese fries?

My husband had a steak and egg burrito. He said it was amazing. My son had chicken tenders and fries. The four piece. He’s pretty picky but ate it all. It was a very huge portion. I ate the beef tacos, kinda like Jack-in-the-Box. It was less though and worth the money. I also had a strawberry shake, which was amazing. The hand made orange juice, amazing and also the chocolate shake also amazing. The guy rang us up was very professional. He engaged with his customers and was very polite. Will definitely visit again. it was cheap for all the food. We got $48 for three people. They also have bundle deals.

Best burgers in town. Fresh lettuce, tomatoes. And good sized patties not some yellow lettuce or frozen patties. Service is very fast The prices are a bit high a double burger is $8.50. by itself. Make sure to have a lot of napkins The burgers are quite messy but very delicious.

Price bait:
4 PC chicken tender combo is 11.99 on menu.
Actual price: 13.99, 15+ after tax.

Staff friendly, food hot and tasty. Prices are unreasonable and not competitive to the several chicken combos in the area.

I saw an ad on their window while sitting at the stoplight, so I turned around and ordered a “chicken littlz” it was some of the best restaurant chicken I’ve eaten in a long time. Better than Canes, better than Chick-fil-A, better than Dave’s Hot Chicken. All of which I like. It was very clean, and very inexpensive. It’s worth it.

I haven’t been to this location for years and saw looked to be new owners.
I wasn’t impressed with my breakfast burrito. When I opened the wrapping I could smell burnt. The hash browns had black bits in them. Ruined the burrito. It was mostly hash browns and a few sausage chunks. Very little cheese. For a $11 burrito that I could only eat 1/3 of serious not impressed. Salsa tastes like ground carrots. No tomatoes or onions to be seen see pictures
A better place is Burger Mania in Sanbernardino cheaper much much better salsa actually they have 2. Same size burrito plenty of good ingredients cooked well. Never had anything burnt ever.

Had a fun first time experience trying the limited time happy hour menu. Everything was enjoyable but the most notable for me was the chicken sandwich after I added hot sauce. The burgers are delish and taste similar to in n out (minus the red onion). Chili fries are plentiful enough for 2! The Oreo shake was so so, tasted more like chocolate. Unfortunately the crunchy tacos were left out but what made me change from a 4 to a 5 star was the service. When I went back for the tacos it was worth it because they were fire. Imagine a Jack n the box taco but with real ingredients! Will pay them another visit.

Restrooms and seating are usually clean, food is always decent but the portion of fries seem to get smaller every time and the service is never overly friendly.
If you don’t mind eating in your car, there is a Nick’s burger south of this place just over the 10 freeway who’s food is phenomenal.

So there’s that….

I’m not happy with this establishment’s service because of the mere fact that they often forget items that you pay for in the Drive-Thru. They have no problem charging you or over-charging you, for a small fry paying $4 the quality control is not their specialty. If I’m going to pay $30 for three people to eat I’d rather go to P&G burgers. At least they have the common sense to put the right order in the damn bag. I will never eat here again.

A vagrant has already smashed a window, and someone is crawling around in the ceiling. What would Tom think? I was not able to dine-in due to these unforeseen events and my Diet Coke ration was limited to a single trip to the soda fountain.

However, before I was able to dwell on this sad fact my food was ready, bagged, and tenderly placed in my hands. I sprinted to my vehicle to get the food unbagged before steam destroyed its structural integrity.

The fries are quite thick, approaching steak fry territory. They are soft, without much crunch, but are cooked through without any grit. Greasy and heavily seasoned.

The burger, an Original with Cheese, was pillowy. Beef forward with a crumbly texture indicative of ground meat that is not manhandled and treated with love. The cheese flavor was mostly lost in the intensely of the beef, and unless you are a real lactose fiend, it might not be worth the extra 75¢. The vegetables provided texture but little taste. The burger sauce had a nice tang. Broadly pleasing.

Fiends peer down from the motel balcony, do they want me or my burger? Many such cases.

I was intrigued. I’m a sucker for a menu item shares it’s name with the restaurant. It is like when a character looks into the camera and say the name of the movie. The R Burger. Wonderful.

Returning at a later date, I order an R Burger, with cheese, French fries, Diet Coke. American classic.

The major change is the addition of avocado and bacon. While not personally very fond of avocado, it did not have the slimy character it so often has in these applications. The bacon was as good as should be expected from a place with such a large breakfast menu. I again paid extra for cheese, and my experiment returned the same result, very little cheese flavor pulled through, although with the more complex burger this was a forgone conclusion.

On another note, my fries did not have the season salt from previous visits. SAD!

Nevertheless, R Burger is the current leader of the semi-local pseudo burger chain (what’s with the Las Vegas location?) GOOD!
