We just happened upon the R BAR as we were walking through Asbury Park over the weekend. What a terrific local spot! We sat outside in the backyard and enjoyed the open space. The drink menu was unique and delicious, our server recommended DELICIOUS main dishes for both of us, and we will definitely be back and bring friends along for the trip next time!

We had so much fun! Our server was amazing and the food was EVEN better! We started with chicken pot pie pockets, crab bingets and caviar! Everything was SO DELICIOUS and well presented. I had the garlic shrimp pasta and my friend had the salmon! We were both raving about our meals! For desert we had fruity pebble crème brûlée! It was BEYOND enjoyable! I can’t wait to go back!

This place is great to epic. Be it date night or taking out clients. Highly recommended not just for the cool atmosphere but their A+ knowledge on wines and cocktails. And if you’re a foodie, you’ll be in heaven!

We had an amazing family dinner celebrating my 50th. The staff were great. We started at the bar while our party all arrived. Great drinks and great conversation with the bartender. The restaurant had a beautiful table for us downstairs. Our party was too big for the outside deck. I totally want to go back and sit outside on the roof. The food was amazing. I highly recommend the mussels and the filet. Oh and they had fruity pebbles creme brulee. Freaking amazing.
