am officially back on the Quiznos train, and I don’t plan on getting off. I stopped in for lunch today and remembered why this place is superior to every other sub shop out there.
First, the toasting. It’s not just warmed-up bread; the meat and cheese actually get caramelized and crispy around the edges. I ordered the Prime Rib & Peppercorn and the first bite was pure perfection—shaved prime rib, melted provolone, and that creamy, slightly spicy peppercorn sauce all soaking into the perfectly toasted bread. It tastes like something from a sit-down restaurant, not a fast-food chain.
Second, the sauces. Do yourself a favor and ask for a side of the Balsamic Rosemary Vinaigrette. It’s tangy, herbaceous, and absolutely elite. I drizzle it on almost everything.
The staff was friendly, the sub was made fast, and the portion size was generous. If you haven’t had Quiznos in a while, do yourself a favor and go back. The Chicken Carbonara is next on my list!

In a gas station but don’t let that fool you, the people working put care into my food. They were friendly and offered a sample of their fried chicken which was also extremely good. Ill be back everytime I visit family.

I ordered with Uber. The sandwich was awful and made me sick. Uber did not care, unlike Doordash. Will not do Quiznos again and haven’t used Uber since.

Worst food and service ever! I asked for a tuna melt and a honey mustard chicken. The service didn’t ask what size or even what I wanted on them. After seeing tomato on the chicken, I told her I didn’t want that and she just picked through it and pulled it off like it was a bother. I didn’t see her make the tuna and she gave me a large, without asking me. After all that, I took one bite of the tuna and it was totally disgusting. The tomato was so squishy I took it off in pieces. The tuna is all dark meat and the cheddar cheese was barely melted and tasted terrible with tuna. You should have white cheese with tuna! I will never go back again and would tell anyone else to avoid this place. The tuna sandwich went straight into the garbage and the other was mostly eaten.

This Quiznos is inside Nick and Moe’s. I wanted a lobster sub but for the 3rd time this year, they didn’t have any lobster. I asked when they might be getting some and was told it’s not in season. So I ordered a 12 inch Chicken bacon ranch/avocado. It was absolutely delicious!! The bread was soft and fresh and the toppings were on point.

I do still love a Quiznos from time to time. It’s hard to rate them as they are kind of in their own class of sub. The original toasted sub. Now every sub creator will ” toast” your sub but somehow those can’t stand up to an authentic Quiznos Sub. I just love that we have one in town.

Can’t believe a quiznos still exists in 2024.. but one does..albeit inside of a gas station in a small town outside of Lakeland ! But man the food is just as good as it was in 2005 and quiznos was a real competitor. Took forever for the food to be made but it was worth the wait. Main bummer was the fact there was no seating area to eat it in.
