Very disappointed in the food portion. Yes the food taste great however I barley had 4-5 ox tails maybe 2 big the rest very small. I only had four small pieces of yams and that was it. For the price Caribbean Hut food portions are WAY better. My husband plate was the same two main oxtails and rest super tiny.

We hadn’t been here in a while! It looks like they have added to their menu. Hubby and I both ordered the oxtails-his sides consisting of collard greens ⁹(very tender and tasty) and cabbage, along with rice and peas. I got rice and peas, mac and cheese (don’t judge me), and collard greens. We asked if the plantains were ripe, and the young man that waited on us said yes, so we ordered a side of those. They were very delicious! Everything was tasty, so hats off to the chef!! We will be back!

I recently visited Quidley’s Delight in Charlotte, and unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. The portion sizes were noticeably small, especially considering the price point. The food quality was not very good as advertised, and I found the flavors to be lacking.
On top of that, the customer service was poor, leaving me feeling undervalued as a customer. If you aren’t gonna have one thing, at least have the other?!
To make matters worse, the owner’s behavior was unprofessional and unwelcoming. Overall, I would not recommend Quidley’s Delight based on my experience. Do not waste your time! In all honesty, it is not even worth a star.

I came on my lunch break abt 3:30. I guess earlier lunch crowd wiped them out because they were out of so much. But I was able to get me some oxtails and curry chicken. It took a good min for it to be cooked and I was really the only sit down customer but I believe they had a lot of take out orders to make. Anyways, once the food came out it was well worth the wait. Meat was so tender and flavorful, cabbage was beautiful and cooked perfectly. Rice was awesome and those yams definitely were not from a can. Overall good experience and I would certainly go back. Only reason why I knocked down 1 star was because I couldn’t see what their grade was, I don’t know if I completely overlooked it but usually I would expect it right there in plain view behind a register.

I highly recommend the oxtails or the brown stew snapper. Both dishes were amazing. As sides we enjoyed the cabbage, greens, candied yams or plantains. The chef and owner is very talented and nice.

Food was absolutely phenomenal! The vibe was real relaxing inside. I visited this location around 2PM on a Saturday and it wasn’t too crowded however I believe that’s due to alot of pickup orders. One of the best Caribbean spots in Charlotte and I stand by that!
