Went for lunch and had the most divine Thai food with authentic taste.
We ordered their pineapple rice and Thai Red curry fish, and Thai green curry Chicken. You get a portion of steamed rice for each curry seperately. The portion size is meant for 2 people but it could serve 3 people. The curries were delicious and very flavourful.
Overall the experience was very pleasant. The staff was well attentive and their service was commendable.
Food arrived faster than expected.
The only drawback is that they do not have a proper parking space and you need to park by the road next to the place.

Worse Service, we waited almost 2 hours for a simple pad thai (which cost 12€) the waitress forgot what we ordered to drink (even if all soft drinks have been out of order and only soda and normal water was available) we got one soda after 1 hours waiting and she completely forgot about my water, in the yard have been rats- the pad Thai was way to sweet and didnt taste thai at all…. Also the peanuts have been out – we got the one from the supermarket and mango sticky rice was also out of order. Dont go their if u r hungry or if you want authentic thai food. Horrible place i dont understand the positive reviews.

I would honestly give 0 stars for the service if that were possible.
We visited on a Saturday for a simple lunch and ended up spending over an hour there. The waiting time was completely unacceptable, it took close to an hour just to receive our food. Even after it arrived, we still had to ask for basic things like cutlery and water, which should have been provided without having to request them.
Unfortunately, the food itself was also below average and did not make up for the long delay or poor service. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

We went in before the dinner rush so there was no wait time and place was not crowded.
The service is great and the staff is extremely helpful with making the selections.
The food seems freshly made but not piping hot. A bit too oily making it heavy. But still tastes great. You have the option of sharing so keep that in mind when you order as the portions are big.
We ordered hot batter cuttlefish where the batter was rather thick. But the rice dish and the Thai green curry (fish) tasted amazing.
Overall a great dining experience.
The prices are reasonable.

Quick thai used to be our favorite place to go for thai food cravings but unfortunately our last visit there was an utter disappointment. Only 3 people were there in the staff: one chef and two waitresses, and they took more than one hour to proceed with a simple order despite there were only 5 customers including us in the whole restaurant.
We had a fried rice which lacked authentic thai flavors and carelessly done.
And the Red curry was watery. Rice portion was dry and cold when served. Washrooms were in a bad condition too.

Went there at 12.15 Despite the open sign in the front door and serving times starting at 12, place looked deserted and we were informed after few mins “chef hasn’t arrived”
It was so ironical I thought the name “quick Thai” is not so quick.

Excellent Thai food! Very flavorful and authentic. All the dishes we tried tasted great. Everything was fresh and tasty, and considering the portion sizes, it’s great value for money.
Staff was super friendly and attentive, and explained all the dishes and made suggestions which were really helpful.
Atmosphere was pretty good too. Has a nice outdoor seating area.
10/10 will recommend. Possibly the best Thai food I’ve had in Colombo so far.

Quick Thai restaurant was a wonderful place to have our lunch. Had ordered beef special with jasmine rice, the combination was good along with egg wrapped on rice. Beef was tasting superb and enjoyed the meal. Tamarind juice also was ordered which was thick and very tasty. Last tried chocolate scoops icecream with dryfruits on it. Entire meal was fabulous and enjoyed it to its best!!!

New review: this place has gone to zero now. The place is deserted and has nothing in the menu. No drinks or juices, no Pad Thai and the food takes so long to come despite us being the only customers. Such a shame I used to love their food but I don’t think I’ll visit here ever again.
Old review: Excellent food and very good service. Been a regular customer since they were near SSC.
Their fried mushroom, Thai omelette, fried rice and pad thai are the best in town.
I try their food at least once a week and never have they let me down.
