Good selection of proteins and nice sides. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Nice, chill atmosphere; the lighting, decor, and music videos playing on the walls via projectors.

Middle of the day. Place is not busy. Takes over 20 minutes to get a seat. Another 20 minutes for a server to arrive. They have 5 or 6 wait staff walking around and only one working (Ally) . They dont even ask if you need anything. They would benefit if they had actual adults as part of the wait staff not a bunch of teenagers. Always nice to see hair in the food.

This was the first time we ate at this restaurant. The waitress that served us was polite but not organized. She came to our table where we asked for a refill and she said she would be back with it but did not come back to our table for 15 to 20 minutes asking how we were doing, did not bring the drinks and had to remind her she had not bring the drinks. She left to go get them and we had to wait again before she brought the drinks. Interesting is the restaurant has sign posted a 90 minute stay time, but we spent half the time waiting at our table with no service. Also, the restaurant was all you can eat and normally in all you can eat restaurants you are given fresh plates each time you’re getting new food. But not at this restaurant. The plates are very small and they do not have knives (at a steakhouse) but gave us one pair of scissors for two people to use. In addition we were given one tongue utensil for two people to cook and had to continue using that same tongue utensil for all the raw meat and cooked food. Which is a risk of salmonella. Finally the waitress brought our check and disappeared again, so we gave the check and payment to the worker at the front door.

went here for a christmas party – party of 16

we had what appeared to be a server for our entire party – the hostess would occasionally help

quite a few of our party had never had korean bbq so they didn’t know what to expect. But with only 1 server who was simply “getting” things. The experience was very bad

even for an experienced diner – I had to constantly ask for items which may or may not be received at the table

they were out of tin foil for the cheesy corn. They would take the hot plate off the burner over a persons head! The meat was very fatty and took forever to get orders.

basically it was cook your own meat at the tables. With whatever marinade you ordered and the table salt/pepper. No soy paste, tofu, hikama. There was a table salad(mostly cabbage). I did actaully get some pickled radish. Such a bad experience for the group. They probably won’t be back.

This is a quick place – where the cook is using a gas cooker – not charcoal. We all had the all you can eat option at i think 32$ a person. Plus drinks.

Atmosphere was decent – dim lighting, so it can be a good date if the service and food were better.

Total bill was around 700 bucks! And i think most everyone would have enjoyed Wendys better!

This was not good.

This place went above and beyond! My friend was hosting her birthday dinner here and the service was amazing. The servers was super nice. Although we stayed past closing time they were very kind and did not make us feel pressured. Shout out to the gentlemen with the glasses who was our waiter. Food was amazing I suggest the seasoned steak and Hawaiian bulgogi. And the ginger beer was to die for ! Will definitely come here again 10/10

I’m a HUGE fan of iron age, I’ve probably been more times than I can count between Duluth AND Conyers. Though I primarily go to the one in Duluth, the one in Conyers is so much more convenient of a drive because I live closer. When it first opened, it actually wasn’t bad at all! Over time, this place has gone down the drain. Today, for the new year, I dined with 3 others. When we were seated, our server took our orders for drinks. It then took him 10-15 minutes to bring us our drinks and starters (rice, rice cakes, japchae, etc). After that it took him another 10 minutes to bring us our first meats. I’m NEVER the kind of person to be angry with someone for taking too long, as I work in customer service and understand that things can back up a little bit, and I know servers are required to take care of MULTIPLE tables. However, this server had 4 tables, including mine and hardly tended to them. The restaurant itself was not even a quarter of the way full. None of his tables could get a check in from in except for when he was walking by and they had to grab his attention to ask for something.

Myself and the three others I dined with asked for refills multiple times, along with asking for more sides, only getting refills after we asked what I’m assuming was the manager. The “manager” sent over another server who had one table to get us refills, and even that took about 10 minutes. She gave us the excuse that they were understaffed today and things just got really busy… there were max 6 tables with people sitting in them, they were not busy at all. She took our cups back into the kitchen and he came out that 10 minutes later with the drinks. We asked AGAIN for more sides and still never got them.

When we ordered our next set of meat (he asked when he brought us our drinks), the grill was placed on the fire and it took him ANOTHER 10-15 minutes to bring that order out. The grill had started to char with nothing on it from it just sitting there, that’s how long it took.

And since it was new years day, there was a mandatory gratuity added to the ticket, which I completely understand, and wouldn’t have minded paying if our server had actually done his job. But between ignoring all of his tables and standing up at the bar talking, he didn’t do a very good job. Even after multiple complaints, nothing was done. We for sure didn’t get our $32 per person price of meat, hell not even our sides.

From now on I’ll gladly take the drive to Duluth for Iron Age. They’re always packed and never have a problem keeping up with their tables. I strongly advise you to do the same. 🙂

side note: raw brisket fell on the floor next to our table from the plate we were brought, from it being poorly stacked and placed. it was not cleaned up for the rest of our stay (30+ minutes)

We visited for the first time last night to celebrate my husband’s birthday and we will definitely be back. Jacee, our waitress, was above and beyond!!!! She knew it was our first time and she was very patient, explained everything, answered all of our questions, and took great care of us!!! She never once made us feel rushed or made us feel like we had a dumb question. All of the food was great, the service was top notch, the atmosphere was very relaxing. I hate that it took us so long to visit, but we will be repeat customers!

I’ve been coming here for 2 years and the service and atmosphere has been wonderful. This last time was different. The Asian culture is gone. That’s the reason I enjoyed going. I’m a black woman and love my culture, but when I want to experience different cultures, I do. I didn’t get that this last time. I wasn’t expecting to hear R&B and Rap music in an Asian establishment. Some of the food has changed as well. In my opinion, they need to go back to their original culture of the restaurant. Oh yeah, my wife is Asian.

Amazing first visit. Atmosphere is nice, facility is clean and food is delicious. Concept is neat. Everything we tried was good. All the sides are yummy. Rice cakes were a little on the tough side but the great service made up for it. Service definitely stood out. Our servers Justin & JT made a great team. They went above and beyond. They made our experience amazing, they were very attentive. We will definitely be back. Welcome to Conyers!
