The food was awesome 1 thing I want to say first is that I’m so happy that they have a Jamaican/ West Indian Restaurant here in West Hartford I no longer have to drive to Hartford to buy Jamaican food. I ordered a large oxtail with rice & peas and veggies. The meat was tender and juicy with lots of gravy on top and some on the rice, the rice was moist not hard at all and the veggies were steamed not soggy with a bit light crunch on them. The Restaurant is family oriented you can definitely eat in and have lunch or dinner with your family and friends and enjoy a great meal. I will definitely be back and also recommend this place to everyone at work.

Some of the best Jamaican food I’ve tasted! We were recently spending time in West Hartford, CT and saw Quick Bites. We decided to try it since the other reviews were so positive. I’m glad we did! We ordered the jerk chicken which was so tender, it was falling off the bone. We also ordered jerk pork which was also quite delicious. The rice and peas portions for the dinner size are huge, very spicy and tasty. The owner was very polite. A+ for the prompt service. We’ll definitely be back to try other dishes on the menu.

I have visited this restaurant and tried several dishes: jerk chicken, curried goat, oxtail, chicken soup, all the patties, plantains. The food is hearty, home-cooked, comfort food. Once you try their chicken soup, you will never eat any other. Perfect to bring a sick friend. Quick Bites, I love you… You bring joy to my life! Next time I will try the coconut snacks!

While working I stopped in for a beef patty. It was very affordable and quite the pleasure to eat as it was baked fresh. Will be recommending to all my friends. And the owner has a wonderful personality and is a very sweet lady.

This is my honest opinion I really wanted to love this place. The oxtails and rica and peas taste horrible the plantain was dry and not fully cooked the rice and peas was burnt and the oxtails was way to salty with very little meat yes she gives you large portions but it’s not worth the price I won’t be coming back very dissatisfied
